I'd suggest soaking them in Polident - or any denture cleaner. I work in a dental office and thats what we recommend for our patients! i'm on aligner 6/11!!

I use the Polident 3minute solution. I haven't had any issues with it wearing it down yet haha. Ive also used the Polident retainer cleanser too and that works fine. the stronger cleaners may? not sure but its been working great for me

You don't necessarily need to bite down all the time, just make sure that the aligners are locked in everytime you put them back in

Great question! i currently have 1 rubberband on and it literally took me 15 tries with a mirror before you start to recognize where everything goes by feel. After about 20 tries (maybe less in your case) you become a pro and can put it on and take them off in a second.

Use a nail file by pulling from the outside in, just a few strokes around the sharp edges will help that's what I did helps keep the inside of your mouth from being cut or raw from the retainer

no, unfortunately not; i asked him about it in my last visit and was told that it would be a permanent thing as gums cannot grow back; however if my gums continue to recess to the point where the tips of my enamels are showing then i will have to go see a periodontist to get a graft (surgery) done :(, thanks for the question by the way! new video coming soon!

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that! I don't get why he wasn't able to at least reduce the spaces by pushing the teeth together after filing in-between? Maybe after your treatment, you could try something called bio-clear (a type of bonding procedure), which could help to fill in the spaces. But I can see how that could be frustrating due to having to endure more cost down the road :(. Anyway, I hope you find a solution that you are satisfied with in the near future, or are at least content with how your final result may end up to be.
