This looks really nice and I may consider getting one. I have a 2024 Ioniq 6, but I don’t really have any complaints about the stock center console top. But, if you are willing and have time, I’d love to hear your recommendations on after market seat covers. I got the SE model specifically to have the longest range version, but I’m not crazy about the cloth seats that come on it. I have done some amount of research on options myself but I haven’t found a clear winner yet. Thanks!

Say, I know this is off topic but I really wish you or somebody would do a video on ‘The Truth about Range Variation’ because the truth is it varies a lot more depending on conditions than I think gets typically conveyed in reviews. This is true for all EV’s from all manufacturers but just as a Hyundai example, I took a 1,500 mile road trip recently in my Ioniq 6’s and the mileage varied anywhere from 2.5 mi/kWH to 5.4 mi/kWH depending on temperature, speed, wind, highway incline and more. That’s a huge difference in total range for the vehicle! So, the whole practice of reporting on range as just one number is neither realistic nor particularly useful. I love to see a more detailed discussion of the different ‘range profiles’ of various models where the range profile is a set of scales showing how each one responds to each major type of driving condition (speed, temperature, wind, highway incline, etc).

You mentioned something about improving the door locking behavior but I don't see a link in the notes. I have a 2024 Ioniq 6 Limited and one thing I really don't like about it is how the door locks worked. My old 2014 Audi A5 has door locks that worked way better. With Ioniq 6, the door doesn't unlock sometimes when I get close to it. Also, I often have to lock it twice as it unlocks when I leave the garage as I get a tiny bit closer to the doors in my path out of the garage. Never had that happen with the Audi. It seems like the Ioniq's door locks just need some fine-tuning.
