Yeah man....great demo. It’s amazing what you can do with an iPad, AUM and soft synths.

Wow. You've just convinced me that getting an iPad makes a lot of sense... Elegant, flexible.. the bees knees.

Thanks for this! I'm setting up a small live keyboard rig (normally I'm just the guitar player) and this a little different approach I might use - using volume instead of using mutes.
@jimmclaren13 жыл бұрын
Definitely! There are many ways to use this little trick :-) I have used it for many small gigs right only need a few sounds, but it’s also my back up break in case my MacBook pro’s Mainstage rig fails. Which it has occasionally....2 times in 4 years! Thanks for watching

I love the sound, looking at this I am wondering if i can set up my church team with this, how could i send the audio into the P.A?

Directly out of the headphone jack or USB c port of your iPad!

Hey Jim, great video! One question, is the aum able to create splits? Thank you
@jimmclaren18 жыл бұрын
+Flávio Bonanome I don't know. I'll look into it! I think not, might have to do it in the controller

Thanks for the video Jim. I'm curious about the Acorn Masterkey. Are you happy with it? Also, are you just using the regular apple CCK? Thanks
@jimmclaren18 жыл бұрын
+Jonathan Cross definitely happy with it. Using the regular apple CCK - lightning to USB. I like that it's powered completely by the iPad or iPhone. I use it to teach with as well. Very happy
@limbelin8 жыл бұрын
+Jim McLaren Could you tell me your iOS version please? And CCK is the original one from apple store? Many people say that they have problems with their keys via new iOS versions. All youtube videos i see people create music with iPad 4 or earlier version (and iOS 7 - 8). Thank you.

+Sam Limbelin iPad Air 2 with original lightning ->USB camera connector kit. The apple version. IOS is newest version, 9.3. Thanks for watching:)

Some MIDI keyboards cause an error in iOS if they draw too much power. This can be solved by placing a powered USB hub in between the iPad and the MIDI keyboard.

Nice! iPad cpu can handle these 4 simultaneous effects no hiccups/issues?

Depends what the apps are. Some are more CPU hungry:). Thanks for watching!

I’m wondering if you could tell me how to convert my korg f6 fc foot controller which sends program changes and convert it to controller changes? So pedal 1 will send a CC 0 change pedal 2 a CC 1 change, pedal 3 etc. I’m trying to use the pedal board to turn off/on effect pedals in positive grids Jam up pro guitar app. Program changes switch presets in the app and CC changes turn on/off the pedals. Please help.

This looks exactly like an app I've been looking for. I hope there's possibility to create splits because that's crucial for me on a gig. Can you create some sort of setlist in the app? Like: Song 1: Piano + Mello Song 2: Rhodes + Pad + Bass etc. Can you use the "learn" button on other stuff than setting volume level?

+Gabriel Soto I'll check it out. Thanks!
