After watching the video, to me Joshua won. The main reasons are: 1) The most violent of offenders are, generally speaking, the ones that are on death row. This means that the states that abolish the death penalty and re-integrate the extremely violent offenders back in with the ones with non-violent crimes, will assuredly create a more harmful environment for the inmates and corrections officers. 2) As technology advances at a rapid rate, the identification technology (fingerprints, facial recognition, DNA samples, etc) become more reliable and less offenders are being wrongfully convicted. So those that are being convicted for capital crimes and put on death row, are less likely to have been wrongfully convicted.

You guys did not make good arguments. I like the execution of innocent argument. But cost of execution should be neglected because for justice we have have to ignore cost. I am not in favour of death penalty I am also not against death penalty. he reason I cannot decide is because I have very strong arguments both in favour and against due to which I cannot make a decision. Arguments against death penalty 1. Many people love voilence. My included many people like voilence. Fighting, breaking bones, blood, choking, injuries, MMA, etc. we also enjoy Brutal killings of humans animals. I have seen on shock websites people being stabbed killed murdered etc. I enjoyed it. Does that makes me a criminal? I feel bad when I watched but it I did not do the crime but I supported the content. 2. My main point against death PENALTY is that people sometimes want to try new things. people want to shoot someone in the head just for fun. people shoot things like water buckets cans, animals just for fun. People would love to shoot a real man. so if we love to shoot a human why we criminalize killing humans?? Arguments in favour of death penalty 1. Victim suffers for no reason and murderer is having absolute liberty to do anything. Murderer has taken someone else's liberty. So this is very conflicting. We humans want to do everything but it is not absolute. Keep yourself in victims shoes your perspective changes and I become in favour death penalty. If i keep myself in guilty persons shoes no matter if guilty person has killed 100,000 people I will be against death penalty. Actually we have death penalty because death is something irreversible. If by technology or by physics or by chemistry or by biology we could make death reversible and bring back someone to life death penalty may no longer be needed. Supposing we have a room where a death human goes inside and he comes out of room being alive. Do we still need to punish the murderer? No. we don't. I just wait scientists to make something like this.
