My phone was put to charge and it was around 96% charged when I seen the phone 5 mins before disconnecting. When I disconnected it the screen was all black and never turned on again. I was scared for a bit because the limited warranty just expired 5 days ago Lmao. But then until the next morning today before going to the Apple store to see what's wrong I checked online and did this method of pressing the volume up then down button quickly then holding the power button for around 10 seconds and it worked! I was relieved man. I was like how can a 1 year old phone already have issues of this kind. I have a iPhone 13 Pro Max by the way. Thanks!

I can’t thank you enough for this video. My iPhone 13 Pro Max blacked out on me for like 5 hours today and then I cam eacross this video. Thank you, you're a blessing. The forced restart worked. I didn't even know this was a possible issue until I woke up and my iPhone screen was dark. First one didn't work, spent ages downloading firmware on Reiboot only to find out that this video fails to mention how much you have to pay to actually then perform the standard repair. Bit cheeky really. If you do have to try the second option....it isn't free!!!!
