I’d like more iPhone content, personally. As a long time Android fan who still prefers Android, I’ve been fully invested in the Apple ecosystem for a year now, because literally everyone in my circle uses iPhones. It does make things easier for me and especially communicating with my kids. I’ve grown to enjoy the polish of Apple and the premium feel of there products. Even as an Android lover who has had every smart watch out there, I have to admit, nothing I’ve ever owned on the Android side has quite the polish of my Watch Ultra 2 from Apple. So I’ll probably stay here in the “walled garden” and enjoy my small acreage of tech lol. Love your channel brother, and we both share the same first name, ha ha. ✌🏻

Well, I just got my Pixel 9 pro and can't get the one year free subscription to the Gemini advance for some reason. It says that my account doesn't qualify! The only iPhone I’m really interested in is the 2022 SE and I will probably buy one pretty soon. I gave away my 2020 SE to my daughter and 8 plus to my nephew and still have the 2016 SE, iPhone X and iPhone 11 now. Since the Pixel 6a is my workhorse i have been dragging my feet about getting the 2022 SE.

Very fair video, I have no doubt that you would have pointed out the cash grab aspect no matter who made the phone. I think they felt pushed into AI, not sure it was as planned as one might think. All I want is somewhat of a more interactive conversational assistant, the rest of the crap is a bit of a gimmick to me. I feel the same about Google and Samsungs AI, not much I would want. I usually have two phones (iOS and Android) but I decided to sell my iPhone 15 Pro Max and moved to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 as my daily driver. I'm over these minor upgrades, I'll probably get a cheap 256GB modal next year just have iOS and Android but I'm pretty happy with Samsung. Granted, the Fold 6 is a minor upgraded phone too, but it offers more versatility than Apple so maybe next year I'll get an iphone as a secondary device.

The move to 8 GB Ram just wasn't necessary in the past. From 2024 forward all iPhones should be on board with Apple Intelligence free or paid. The lower end models will still get short changed with camera features. It is what it is I don't make the rules

iPhone 14Pro is the benchmark performance king of its era and the 6GB was apparently fine because Apple magic So the options are the hardware is truely bad and hence can't do so many of the so called AI stuff other phones that apparently are useless can do and get some upgrades to do. Or Apple are just playing customers. Which is it? Simply Tim's pants are down now, when you can put Google Photos on a 14Pro and do the image stuff that says either Apple are the worst at their own software dev or again playing. The examples are out there live now, other brands of the 14Pro era are light years ahead now with integrated smarts and will keep improving. Meanwhile are 14pro users stuck with "here's something I found on the web" and using 3rd party tools to so the same thing 🤷‍♂️

WWDC 2024 was looking up for apple and their iphones and can almost make the case for an android user get one for their next phone. In my opinion, I don't think this was on purpose, and most regular consumers will not upgrade for Ai. 🍎 devices last a long time, I hate to use the term 'regular' consumer, but your average 🍎 user is happy with their device for a long time. They are also are not limiting features artificially like google with video boost etc. Are they going to go on stage and say our new silicon allows to do xyz feature on your phone, only for it not actually be done on the phone and on their servers? Forcing people to upgrade. You could say that when your battery health is fine on Monday and then a new ios version is released and magically after the install they artificially performance limit your phone because you're battery is toast and they're doing it for your user experience! Here in Europe few people comparatively can afford an iPhone but everyone wants them and gets one every chance they get and it makes absolute sense as to why. Contrary to what comments will have you believe people buy with their heads and the simple fact of the matter is that iPhones simply work. They work with everything, everywhere, with every carrier, at any country, at all circumstances. Furthermore, support is real, especially if there is availability for apple care. Androids are fractured beyond belief even among the most premium android brands (like Samsung) and support is either spotty or even non existent for a lot of other brands. To top it all if you put everything together they are not even cheap any more. Say all you want about apple but it's no secret that they deliver the service as if the phone is an actual tool. No it can't do everything, no it's not as intuitive in UI operation and navigation like Android is, no it's not anywhere near as "fun" but damn it does it work as it's supposed to. That, you simply can't beat no matter what.

I’m not sure how much experience you have with Android phones but they are on par and even better in some ways to phones. They are all basically on equal footing now in performance and reliability and anyone can feel secure buying either or.

I am talking about everything, not just OS, i am an android user since the start. I am not fond of having no tech support for my device and a spotty warranty. If you have an iphone it doesn't matter if i am in Romania and i bought the device in Spain. They will consider me a normal customer and will give me the full range of support. That's not true for my Pixel, my S23U and my Moto G. When my job issued me a work iphone and imac i didn't like it initially but it won me over with how easy it works with everything and there is support for anything and everywhere you go. I doesn't hurt that the device also supports the full range of services from every carrier everywhere. In Romania? No problem, pick your carrier and you have full VoWi-Fi and voLTE. In Spain? Same thing. Want to pay in this God forsaken old machine? Well, it supports Apple pay just fine (but not other options like Gpay).

As a European I have to tell you that Apple has decided to wait with their AI features, here in Europe, until late this year or early next year. Yet again Apple has chosen to show their anticompetitive behavior. That's according to the Vice President of the European Commission Margrethe Vestager. I do not recommend any European consumer to upgrade, to IPhone 16, until Apple has implemented the AI features.
