It’s not really copying, it’s what Samsung want to make, so if Samsung say for example want to stop 60hz production, Apple will no longer have access to it, yea they can get it elsewhere but they need multiple suppliers. So if Samsung say they will supply their screens this way, Apple will have to follow it.

Don't hold your breath, it's one of the top 10 selling phones in the world. This year I bought the 15 plus because the guy I'm selling it to in September wanted that model. The display looks excellent. I've had the 120hz on my iPad Pro for years now, so if it was that different I could tell.

Im glad , the anti reflective coating also aids noise to the image in certain circumstances, and this crap is not new apples has been offering it its monitors for yonks, I’d rather have the reflections and a crystal clear display. As for Apple copying, samdung has done its share of copying Apple . Remember when Apple deleted the headphone jack ….. guess who copied Apple ? Remember when Apple deleted the charger and accessories in the box , guess who copied Apple ? I could go on , they all take turns in copying each others good and bad points , nothing new here. As for the cheaper Apple models only having 60 hz , it’s not Android and even the low spec Apple devices still perform well and its so barely noticeable the difference, maybe if you are gaming or something? But I think most games run at 60 hz anyway don’t they ? In daily life does 60 or 120 hz make much difference ? I have a14 pro max 120 hz and a 12 pro max 60 hz , and a pixel 8 pro 120 hz next to me , the 12 pro max was closest to me which I’m using right now because it was closer ….. I don’t notice any dam difference , my galaxy note 9 ….. 60 hz I still use it often , its 6 years old and the chipset is a bit slower, but it still works just fine.

To sell the highest end phone you have to save some factors that differentiate the most expensive phone. Samsung is nowhere close to Apple in terms of phone revenue, so they have to improve the mix of their own sales.
