What version of S24 Ultra is this? Snapdragon Gen 3 or Exynos?

They're all snapdragon. Exynos is on the lower models s24 s24+ and only in certain global areas

@TomRucero they started putting the same chip in because other markets were complaining of an inferior chip with the s23. Samsung was hoping the new exynos would be ready for the s24 but it wasn't so they stuck with the snapdragon for the ultra standard and plus model for Na Eu and Korea.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max must be compared with the Samsung S25 Ultra model, to be from the same generation. We have to be patient until then.

I suppose the cameras are acceptable on both. I wouldn't buy either of them for the cameras alone, both look pretty terrible. Furthermore, I don't understand why people buy one phone over another just because the cameras are better, every high-end phone from the past 3 years shoots good enough video and photo to show someone else on the phone's small display. Even now, Iphone and Samsung video and photo is unusable to do something productive, they just can't compare to a real camera, and they never will.
