I paid over 1000$ and Im not allowed to play games and do heavy stuff on my phone ? I had an android phone for 4 years and I played some games like COD nearly everyday on it and it still working fine no battery issues I never used power saving mode and still works perfectly, but on my 14 pro max which costs 700$ more than my old phone I can’t play games and I have to use power saving mode ? It’s just iOS 16… hopefully they fix it with iOS 17… I watched my iPhone 13 just a few days ago health was at 98% i unplugged from charger, went to batt health and watched it change from 98 to 92% My 14PM i have been babying using my old 5w charge block, using my faster 20w charger sometimes… only been through 10 cycles so far

I purchased 13mini in Sept/2022. Battery health was 100% till April/2023, but it has rapidly deteriorated to 90% as on today Sept/2023. I’m a very very light user, no games at all. What I can logically say is that: - battery deteriorated rapidly once heavy summer came in (40C+). - using usb charging in the car did damage too. The phone heated up even when using the oem cable. HEAT IS THE BIGGEST ENEMY.

My iPhone 13 Pro Max battery health was as bad as well in less than a year it dropped to 92% so far my iPhone 14 Pro Max is at 97% in a much better performance comparing to last year’s iPhone 13 Pro Max at least so far !

Optimize battery charging doesn’t work for me. It charges at the same speed above 80% as when the setting is off and I’ve never gotten the sense it’s “learned” from my usage habits.

First of all…we all have to admit that we’re using our iPhones more aggressively with newer models compared with older devices! In a way I was using my 5S and in a different way I’m using my 13 Pro Max! That’s because our devices are doing more things simultaneously and faster like in the past! Plus, we spend more time on phones like in the past! So, maybe we need to chill out and accept that the battery fatigue is justified!

My 13 Pro arrived with 99% health, new in box this September. It's now at 92%, and I'm more careful than I've ever been about charging. My previous Xiaomi is still at 96% health after 2 years of intense use and 27W charging overnight. iPhones are by far the lowest quality devices I've ever seen, definitely switching to a Zenfone ASAP.

Hi, I just bought 12 pro on 27/05 but then today, 20/06 my battery health is dropping to 99%. I had been using Iphone XR for almost 5 years and the battery health drop only until 83% and my XR didn’t even get to change to another set of battery. This is crazy. In the case when the battery health stays at 100 for a long time the only reason is that it had quiet a bit more of capacity than Apple says in theory, so on your device it won't drop below 100 until it drops under the mAh that Apple says it has.

I’ve been lucky over the past like half decade, or more, to have gotten models with slightly higher capacity than the standard.

100% on 14pro after 8 months i always use low power mode and if necessary, i turn off that to experience cool features (but not all the time since those r just for ur satisfaction). i play Genshin, PGR, other games but i set a limit of 2 hours for doing such activities. My average screen time is about 4 or 5 hours.

Or... maybe instead of being paranoid about your battery life, and making useless videos, just use your phone like a phone. This whole thing with charging above 80% is bs. Apple just makes you paranoid with this "feature". I charge my phone when I want to and when I need to. I don't do it between 20-80% or whatever this guy says. I charge while using it or playing games, it makes no difference. My phone is now 2 years and 3 months and it's at 88%. I've never done one thing that this guy says to do.
