you can either take a picture and then blur the background after with an app like facetune or other editing apps, or if you can try to put the subject of the picture kind of away from the background so they are the main focus

Hannah Barham B612 has a filter that mimics portrait mode and is free. The only thing is you can’t get studio lighting, but you can do that after the fact if you edit with FaceTune.

You can turn on HDR mode in the camera app and set the focus where you want. it may take a while but it usually turns out pretty good!

You should’ve held down on focus and then on the side slide down and set the light exposure so the lights would’ve been exposed more I think that would’ve made it a great shot but all the photos were awesome as well !!

SHELBY! okay so ive seen everyone do, like, the ugly location photoshoot and all but the model in the picture usually is not "dressed ugly" or not wearing things "out of style" or the model has killer makeup and hair done. I wanna see a good photographer (you) do a photo shoot where the model is not "on point" that day and neither is the backround. I liked the video. No complaints. But, I wish you had put some landscape pics at the beginning. Because you kept pointing out the differences for portrait mode and I didnt remember any landscape pics for comparison. Just my personal preference but with your subscribers you obviously are correct.
