iPhone X face ID not working (boot looping and not turning)

I don’t usually leave comments, but I wanted you to know that your video truly helped me. Last summer my iPhone suddenly stopped working and I had my journal backed up to the iCloud, so when it crashed I was not initially worried. No one could fix my phone and I realized the iCloud did contain a backup of my journal but both the journal app company and Apple did not know how to retrieve the data. The only known copy of my journal was trapped on my boot looping iPhone X. These moments were so precious to me that I tried so so many methods to fix the phone. My problem was also a corroded Face ID ambient light sensor. I followed your instructions and disconnected it and my phone came back. It’s back. You gave me my phone back and my lost moments back. I will forever be grateful. Thank you so very much.

Just tear off the flex connected to Light sensor. Of course before it try to clean it with a needle. If not do the first thing. I have the same problem. I will try first to clean it. If not I have to cut the ribbon

I had this happen to me. What I did was to take the proximity sensor/earpiece assembly out and unfold and un-crease all the ribbon cables i could find. I reached the part shown at 6:40 and removed the adhesive that was holding that part to the adjacent sensor. Once that was done, I tested it and it started working!

Quick question I have a iphone x same issue but mine a bit different. If I unplug the Face ID speaker adapter the phone turns On, but when I plug it back up it reboots I changed the whole lcd and it does the same thing phone comes on only if connector is not plugged, so for sure it’s not corrosion casue I replaced it instead of swapping the piece , some how it’s making me feel it’s something wrong wit the connection On the phone instead of the speaker adapter connector Any ideas what it can be, and of course without it I have no FaceTime, they can deal wit that but u can’t hear anything and have no earpiece speaker to talk

If I ma ask,if get what your saying you shouldn't have issues when changing the screen, if a problem comes up with the face ID,Is not Recognized, it's your fault when disassembling you damaged a flex or what ever other piece,so changing the screen (LCD) Ect shouldn't and isn't responsible for the face ID not working after reassembled

@iTouch Great video. My iphone X memory was so full and it stopped taking pics thru caMera app but it still let me take pics thru whatsapp because of smaller file size. The phone went on boot loop. And is now stuck on recovery mode. Updating isnt working because there is no storage space. Is there a way to switch the phone on or retrieve data. What can be done?

@iTouch How do you fix an iphone X stuck in recovery mode because of a full storage. It went into a bootloop and then updating failed because of lack of sufficient storage. Would the phone require to be opened for this issue? What is a possible solution? Waiting to hear from you

I has the same isssue to me i fixed it by removing the face id top flex cable completely and tried to restore and got it

Hi, i would recommend Luban chips I’ve been using them for a while now and they are very cool to install Either way you need to remove the dot projector from the housing and the Prisma but for the i2c the base of the projector can sit incorrectly and then you not only have a problem with the sensor and also you have a problem with installing back the projector base to the housing So I would say go with the Luban, that’s my choice

The speaker is soldered to the flex, if you disconnect the flex there will be no upper speaker.
