Fair warning: the liquid crystal cases are not good drop protection- screens can still easily break from a pocket fall on the sides or corners.

What's yellowing like? Always an issue with TPU cases, I find?

It will definitely yellow after 6 months if you look closely you will notice it, it seems to yellow more on the sides than the back.

Nikhil Widhani I have a Spigen crystal hard shell case on my phone for almost a year, No yellowing at all. I would think the liquid crystal case would be the same quality. I would also ask people on Amazon.com who own the case, they can tell you for sure.

Nikhil Widhani their selling point to this case is anti-yellowing. It comes with a company guarantee. So I guess it shouldn’t, and if it does you are entitled to a new one.

I've got a Spigen clear case and I've been using it for at least 2 years. It has yellowed terribly. Plus, dust can slip into the back of the case!

Are you using a Speck Candy Shell on your iPhone X? Be careful because the ridges inside can scratch the metal band around the phone especially if dirt gets in

Avalanche Tsunami, mine went yellow after 2 years sitting in the cupboard! Mind you at around $5 it wouldn't be too expensive just to change it 2 or 3 years down the line.

The yellow is not dirt, it's the UV light reacting with the silicone slowly over time. Was the case you were using one with a hard back or silicone back?

Tech Zilla I don’t remember the brand name..it is transparent and flexible...I believe the flexibility is the problem...little dust particles finish between case and steel frame and the movement of the case makes these particles scratch the steel...Anyway this steel should be harder(maybe with a DLC treatment?!)

A Loiak I agree the steel should be harder and the glass too. The Spigen case is pretty tight I haven’t had this issue before with Spigen cases. I know other clear cases are not fitted as well and dirt gets in unfortunately

Love how he totally ignored the fact that there is a horrible branding that says “designed in California made in Korea” on the opposite side of where it says “spigen”. You can clearly see he purposely avoided disclosing that information. If someone is watching this video, that would probably mean they were interested in purchasing the case and that might be an important variable? Very biased review! :(

How is it biased? I bought the case it’s not sponsored and all clear Spigen cases say designed in California made in Korea. Don’t go around accusing people without facts as I clearly stated I bought the case so why would I need to be biased?
