According to slash gear $464 to produce a 14 pro max. Though I think the guys point is that producing something in China is dirt cheap. Over there you don't have strict laws on labor and can make something a fraction of the cost, as a western country.

People don't really understand economics, if I were to make one iphone it wouldn't cost 10 dollars, but because iphone is such a huge brand and makes plenty of iPhones, it means the price of the natural resources drop significantly and the prices to pay also drop. *don't also forget* That China has one of the harshest working conditions and really underpays their workers

@@user-dh3qn4tp5y That’s true. If you cut out the middlemen for the resources and parts and buy in bulk you can get products cheaper. Sadly Apple doesn’t make all parts of their products themselves and the cutting edge technology comes with a hefty price. So I still stand by my parts costs of 300-400 dollars minimum. If an iPhone costs around 1k it leaves them with more than 60% profit on their sales. And this is without other factors like marketing, store fronts, etc. But telling me that it’s less than 100 dollars to produce an iPhone is a lie.

Damn, I always envy people like him for their exclusive wits. How was I not able to think of how you can basically deny all the people involved in the creation of a product and just fucking ditch them when they have done their part 😮 Just make sure that all the necessary parts ultimately all end up somewhere after years of designing, planning, organizing the production chains. Make sure your IT guys upload their results ready-to-deploy on mass scale. Find yourself a bunch of slaves and voila! Now you can manufacture iPhones for 10$ a piece. Those greedy corporate pigs. The audacity, right? Not only do they keep track of contributions from day 0 till the product hits the shelves. NOW THEY DARE TO PAY PEOPLE WHO WERE LIKE DONE THREE WEEKS AGO?! Are they nuts???
