9:15 I have been a hip hop dancer for like 7 years and everything Aba is saying is true. First of all, it's a gay world, which is not a problem, but there a lot of gays. Second, the paycheck is low, so when there are opportunities (like auditions), people around will tell you nothing about it. And third, like Aba said, people are doing strange and dark stuff for a little spotlight. I have heard and seen straight men do gay things just for more attention. In that 7 years, I have been paid only 2 times. And the 2 times I was paid, the boss gave money to the guy who was paying us and that asshole took 25% of each of us, because "it was him who gave us that opportunity". I have disliked Lizzo for years. Her personality is obnoxious and entitled but I always just had to keep my mouth shut because if you SAY that out loud, you’re automatically labeled fat-phobic or racist. I’ve had her blocked/muted on social media for years because I can’t stand her. She’s just annoying and it has nothing to do with her size or race. So I’m not surprised she’s not a great person or has allegations. Edit: would like to add if the allegations are proven false in the future, she’s STILL obnoxious I don’t take it back. She can be a “good person” in general and still obnoxious and unlikable regardless 😭

I have been in a entertainment position and it was a big red pill for me. I went from a guy with 1 fwb to having to keep her with me alot of the time because of the other women throwing themselves at me. I was not that attractive to women in my area but soon as I got that little bit of power in that particular industry all of a sudden I'm "C.Tatum". So I would keep my fwb around for a witness. Some of them would show up at my house late at night and I would have to tell them to leave cause I had to work in the morning. Fortunately I always had someone around as a witness. If you're not smart enough to see that it's about your position and not you as a person or strong enough to say no over and over again you can EASILY get into trouble if not your heart broke. In the entertainment industry, it's very seldom about them liking you, as much as it's about what you can do for them or what they can get out there you and most of the females that show up in the industry are very beautiful. Be careful and be vigilant and have someone you can trust cause alot of subordinates in that industry will do whatever they think they can get away with to get ahead.

Since becoming adult I'm learning about the dark side of Hollywood. I've never been so relieved that I didn't go after Modeling and acting offers back when I was a teenager, And one time for my son when he was a toddler. The offers were flattering. I confess. A tiny part of me that used to imagine Becoming famous Back when I was a kid Was tempted. As silly as it sounds, something didn't feel right. I wasn't really sure why at the time. I just felt it would be a bad idea to do that. Maybe if i'd never fall in love before. I Already met my soulmate I didn't like to be separated from him for too long. I didn't need to be famous, And I didn't want my child to be. I wanted him to just be a kid and enjoy his childhood feeling safe and loved. I knew that being famous was fun to dream about but, in reality would make me miserable. Then I learned how actual danger That is and glad I dodged the bullet. So many opportunities to go to down a path I would severely regret. One of the modeling offers background I was 15, Turned out to be for exotic dancing. I didn't know what that was at the time. I I showed my mom and she explained it to me. That was creepy. And I think the lady that handed me a card saying she was an agent and was interested in my son may have been a traffiker. She said she was a modeling agent but she was in a goodwill in Maine. She came up to me said that I have an adorable looking son and have I ever thought about putting him in modeling and if so to give her a call. Whether I missed opportunity or dodged bullet I think I made the correct choice of not calling. Im Really not all that good looking, Average at best, Accept my husband I'm at 12 for 10. My son is adorable that's true. It's a higher chance that it's a scam than an actual opportunity. And there are At least for me more precious things in life than fame and fortune. I want to live for my loved ones, I want genuinely be myself and live my life. I'm selfish I want to belong to just my husband I don't want to be shared with the world. And I want my children to I have the freedom to learn to be themselves.

Yeah, the dance world is cut throat. I was auditioning for competition with my old dance crew a few years back. My teacher was a choreographer and well known in the city. He introduced me to a judge from the So You Can Think You Can Dance Canada panel. He was well connected and apparently, he was talking to the judge about me as a dancer and how good I was. I was injured during the audition, so I couldn't dance. After watching my crew audition, the judge pulled me aside and offered me an opportunity to work/train under her but, I had to ditch my crew to do it. It felt like she was trying to convince me that I would be better off with her and she can get me opportunities. Selling a child a dream. I was 16-17 at the time and my mom was there but, she wasn't invited into any of the conversations which I found odd. Isolation tactics. Thankfully, I'm loyal, I rejected the offer because I didn't want to leave my crew but, knowing what I know now about the industry, I'm glad I did. I often wondered what part of me I would've had to sell in order to make my dream come true. I've heard way to many stories and know people in the industry. It's a dark and cold game.

I stayed at a hotel on a visit to LA once. I cut it short and switched hotels because of the rumors I heard about it after talking to some people. Nobody wanted to meet at my hotel before going out for the day. For the PG version.... There are rooms and potentially whole floors that are rented by high-powered people of certain proclivities; where they can be entertained by "young talent". Rumor is that at least a few of "the special help" didn't survive the job; and the staff are trained to be "out to lunch" and/or blind-deaf-mutes during per-specified times. I also heard the entire modeling industry is a "sleep you way in" type of deal, including for the men as well. And that some agencies specifically target "small town" talent because they're less versed in how to handle themselves and are influenced more by lure of making it big. It's the same as all those "boat girls" on instagram. They're out there selling their "time" for money and everyone knows it but everyone also pretends to have no idea. Except for boat girls, they can fall over in a tragic accident and never be heard from again. And that's assuming people like Epstein's "finder," Ghislane Maxwell doesn't get to them first. Chilling stuff; and it's been going on since the beginning of social media itself. Apparently every platform starting about halfway into MySpace's life; but partiuclarly FB and after, is surreptitiously purpose-built or soon after compromised to allow for these "dealings." That, and at least part of the time, it's the intel agencies who are the purveyors & buyers.
