Love this episode. Particularly because I KNOW THE (now) EX-Husband. Here's what you don't know about the "end credits" : What he was saying to her, in the end credits is, "It's over. Everything you did. Everything you've thought about me. Everything about you... is a lie." I asked him about it years afterwards. He's a good dude who did good in the end. He re-married, and lives a good life. I can't say the same for the (now) ex-wife.

I remember when this show aired. I was a teenager and I just knew it was juicy and extremely entertaining and didn't understand why it disappeared off the air. Seems like a show like that would have been on for years. I could imagine the drama and emotional fallout of the show at that age but not the gravity of it and the violence that could result as well. Now I see and I'm glad they went off the air. Just because you're allowed to destroy yourself on TV for money doesn't mean it should be allowed. It makes me think of this movie called "Live!" with Eva Mendes about a game show that televised a game of Russian roulette with an actual loaded gun and for money people played a game of chance where they might actually kill themselves on national television. We're probably not far from them reframing this idea and put a show like "Moment of Truth" back on the air.

I'll tell y'all what the point is. People, men and women, are cowards. When someone expects something from them, be it a ring, a wedding, loyalty, a certain pre-planned life path, not only are most people raised to be such non-confrontational COWARDS, unable to stand up and speak what they need---but they are so un-selfaware they hardly even know when they are on the wrong path in life. They barely even know that they are unhappy. So when they get a chance to skip away from the life they already built, they do it, screw the consequences, the wreckage left behind because someone NEW made their PEEPEE feel good or made them feel PRETTY.

Like, what kind of relationship are YOU in that makes you blame someone who trusts the person they live with, proposed to, sleep with, either do or would trust your kid with, and want to spend the rest of your life with? C’mon, man. He believed in his spouse as ANY lover should and was BETRAYED because she was UNTRUTHFUL from at least as early as wedding day. End of story!

I’d laugh my ass off if it turns out they cheated her on the last question. Like the producers decided this woman couldn’t get that money.

I wouldnt be surprised at all. I mean it would explain why she looked so shocked. And also, why would she lie about THAT? After all the other horrible things she admitted to?? I think they wanted to save themselves the cost of paying her by claiming she was lying. Its not like she can really dispute it.
@vincentlenart16973 жыл бұрын
I suspect most people are conflicted on the question. I think a lie detector would sense it as a lie no matter how she answered.

She didn’t deserve it. Even if she would of got the money, she would literally be paid for being a no good person. Lol she failed that question plus did her husband dirty. And yes she would of left her husband for frank before the show was even thought of. One man have to suffer for a potential 500K that’s messed up.

@@damoreahmitchell6863 RIGHT!! This was back in the 90's - early 2000's so the producers still had some pull too. Good call by them not to give this witch anything.

You can literally see the guy's heart getting crushed every times the girl gives an answer. With all that, he still manage to keep composure and some dignity. He does not deserve that. That woman is a real sociopath. I feel bad for him...

I find it so annoying that most guys do this we live in a society that we must comfort women regardless of whatever messed up thing they do. And the small portion of men that refuse to engage with this type of behaviour get labelled as bad guys for treating women badly.
