I never forgot how many times me and my wife (RIP) used to argue over saying "I love you" and my standpoint was that women tend to over use that to a point where it really held no meaning because women tend to say it and then do the exact opposite in showing it. The way I was raised real love wasn't about how many times you say it, but in how you showed it. And it's true growing up I was used to hearing my grandmothers, aunts, and mother say it all the time. But when my father, grandfather, and uncles said it that hit harder and resonated with me more because they never used those words casually in conversation with me or anyone else for that matter.

It's only when I began being honest to women, that i realised how as a man my feelings, desires and rights are not respected, It's not right to be emotionally blackmailed, or used as an emotional and mental punch bag for having a life, women abuse my presence and time, and some even dont think past the present, that when I walk out the door, I still have to exist, at work at home and in the world. Ive had some amazing moments just sitting up all night talking and sharing deep parts of my life and when I needed to leave weather it was 2am or 7am, the amazing time shared would be almost in a second wiped away by being made to feel guilty for having to go, i found myself trying to explain and justify why I need to go home, some women would act as if I'm lying, we are just friends, I can come and go as I please. People need to open their minds and consider eachothers lifestyle, and priorities. Like I said, when I leave I still am alive, it was as if I was a thing that only existed in their presence. Too many selfish babies acting like adults in the world, so it's not my fault I'm happier and safer just not socialising with women.

Nobody is at fault here, it doesn’t have to be right vs wrong all the time. They felt differently about each other, and both expressed their feelings openly and honestly. He didn’t feel the same, and that’s just how it is sometimes.

I think it has to do with culture. There isnt really a thing as “dating” in Europe.
@macvena4 жыл бұрын
@@Fleurig-xr5mm It's exactly the same thing. The term is irrelevant. Calling an ongoing sexual relationship, just "hanging out" doesn't change that its identical to someone who calls it dating. I hang with friends, I don't sleep with them. In English, the term date implies an intentional romatic exploration, no matter how casual it may be.

This young man is definitely more emotionally mature than that older woman. He is definitely more self aware and she just puts him on a pedestal which is a turn off and also puts a lot of pressure on him to have to be perfect when he isn't. There is a difference between genuine praise that wants nothing in return and what she is giving. The genuine compliment isn't coming from a thirsty, needy, seeking acceptance, people pleasing, I'm a doormat, use me kind of place like it is with her. That genuine praise comes from, not looking for anything in return and not chasing him. She definitely would push him away with that behavior, I have learned from experience and been on both sides of the coin so I get it.

She dresses like the "cool chick" in high school. That's what she probably was 25 years ago and cannot let go. Don't get me wrong she is attractive and she can still sort of pull it off. That doesn't change that she could be his mom, and she's clinging to this young pretty boy like her lost youth. She's not getting her twenties back. It's all gone.

Strong infatuation will do this to some degree no matter who you are. We are all just gambling on whether its mutual and pretending to be adults in hindsight when it works out. The parts of the brain involved in courtship are intertwined with the parts involved in play behavior.

@@homelessrobot That's a very good point. Nobody can really say to be safe from it. After a certain age, though, "falling in love" it's not something to wish upon oneself. There is no worse fool than an old one.
