I thoroughly enjoyed that Alice! I have lived in Ipswich for 50 years and have learned something new today, I never knew about the executions on the Cornhill!! To enjoy Ipswich you have proved all you need do is look up! We have such a beautiful town. I am not sure if you have done a vlog on Mistley near Manningtree? but there’s lots of history there too of executions and Matthew Hopkins the witch finder general

Thank you for your very interesting tour around Ipswich, my home town. The Wolsey gateway has been a thorn in my side for most of my life, I once worked oposite to the gate and thought it would one day, if something wasnt done to presearv it, fall down. It seems to me Ipswich Counsil are blind to the advantage this historical gateway could be to visitors, with it being very close to the River Orwell, the area that Cardinal Wolsey would have used, no doubt on visits to London.

The Wolsey Gateway is of historical importance, and I hope Ipswich Council will make more of it in terms of tourism and local interest. Ipswich has so much to offer, but like most councils, they have limited budgets for preserving old buildings. Ipswich is a revolting place, ruined by the riff raff and their flashy cars, and exceedingly over-crowded. It is a mere shadow of its former self: this is a very terrible thing. I avoid the rotten place like the plague!
