Battle! Chicago Rainbow skating rink 1987 Fabulous Ones! Crazy legs, big wheel, spin, backwards split, turn back around, big wheel, crazy legs and end with a spin in circles on two wheels slow motion! If only my knees were strong enough now at 48 years old!

LOL......I used to go to the Rainbow back in the early 80s. Was one of the first black skaters there. Nice to see folks still doing the BIG WHEEL. our fav routine was Gangsta walk, slide , touch the ground twice. ...... Learned that at HOT WHEELS on the Westside.

love this vid right here, chitown has a lot of talented skaters, and I'm an old school chitown skater, but at the begging of this vid those two smooth bothers, and around 5:17 really shows just a small glimpse of what this one particlar skater can do if you keep 4 hours or more of that funky music going, 10min is never enough..ijs

Those skates might also come with soft cushions. (PowerDyne Magic Cushions) The plate is likely a Reaktor Plate as well. Those two elements make a huge difference alone.

I used to skate back in the early 80s in So. Cali and we would only tie our skates up only 3 laces and tie the bow to the back of the skates. I could literally jump right out of my skates but we still had complete control.
