That is a violation of the International Law, and Iran pointed that out on the session in the UN. Very disappointed by the obvious biased commentary by Makori. The unprecedented attack was by Israel against a diplomatic mission, which is considered by international law sovereign territory. Kitco should focus on finance/economics and only incorporate geopolitics in so far as it affects financial/economic matters, but to start vilifying one country and presenting another country as the victim, well, I would call that rather unprofessional. Having said that, Kitco is now temporarily blacklisted for a while. First strike. Second strike and Kitco is blacklisted permanently.

It was an unprecedented attack by israel on the Iranian embassy in Syrian territory, a diplomatic objective. Never seen since the attack from NATO on the Chinese embassy in Belgrado. Iran made a very specific and limited counterattack on the base that launched this attack, this was a military objective. How many Israelis were killed in this attack? None. This contrasts with the 16 people the Israelis killed in the Iranian consulate in Damascus. This was deliberate. Iran was showing the Israelis that it has deterrence capability. The drones took 3-5 hours to get to Israel so their arrival was well-publicised making it easy to track and shoot them down. It was their second-tier ballistic missiles coming in behind the drones which did the damage. NOTE: The Israelis and their allies spent over a billion dollars in their defensive take-downs. The Iranians? Probably a couple of million.
