I check out the emerald Isle to see its wonderful culture, interesting history and carb-heavy national sandwich.

Tayto Cheese and Onion were the first flavoured (as in not just salted) crisps ever!

Excellent video and you managed to get the history correct which a lot of people don’t so kudos to you. Now I’m going to make a Tayto sandwich.

hang on there boy....did you not see the original on the pack?that is because they made the first flavoured crisps so we get to call them whatever we want and you are in fact wrong....before that it was just a pack of plain flavoured potatoes with a salt pack like in pot noodles...like who wants to eat cold slivers of fried potatoes regardless of being called chips or crisps? but if you must know we generally call all crisps here tayto it would be very rare to hear crisps or chips,to us they are all taytos but some less superior than the original....

also the potato wasn't just small it was blighted, you know rotten like unusable not edible just putrid?

my comment about the million tons of butter exported has gone astray....why you think we had to import bread and butter is bizarre ....nothing wrong with all the soil either, just that they were given a tiny plot to grow just one personal food source but that wasn't for everyone....

found this very disrespectful and lacking any good information....dacent tunes though but you have fused a modern thing and a historical time together for no reason but gave it a sweet spin,is that typically of an American having the same history, present and policy as the UK?
