Very interesting to see the construction of the moderator. The over barrel design isn't as common here in the US. Additionally most of the rifle caliber cans (moderators) here are sealed construction. A user serviceable can would be nice. Very enjoyable episode. Thanks. Keep them coming.

Dan Hill thanks for the comment. The over barrel versions help to balance the gun better and allow for more internal capacity without making the gun too long. Really good job.

How can you enjoy killing animals for “fun”? It’s cruel and vile and WRONG. If you were shooting puppies, you’d be done in for animal cruelty. Why is it different with poor pheasants? Anyone who enjoys shooting for “fun” must be sick in the head...

John Goodwin Don’t speak to me like that, please. Would you like it if someone spoke to you like that? I am anti-shooting and will remain anti-shooting. If I had my way, all this animal cruelty (hunting, shooting, fishing) would all be banned. Humans do not have the right to do whatever they want to animals. Humans are a part of nature, not above it. Then they wonder why us animal rights people sometimes hate humans and rant against humans. Human beings, as a species, are the worst, most violent, destructive and horrible species out. We hunt other animals for unnecessary reasons, for pleasure, we force dogs to fight, we destroy animals’ homes, we build farms and destroy wildlife on them and abuse, exploit and kill animals for food (just for money, just because meat is normalised and we love it), we cruelly cage and gas, electrocute and beat minke, foxes 🦊, raccoons, raccoon dogs and other animals just for their fur, we skin cows alive and conscious for leather, we boil dogs and cats alive for their meat, we have driven far more species to extinction than any other species have, we pollute the environment, we slaughter seals for their fur, we overfish the oceans, we fish for fun, we chop down trees, we trap animals for their fur, we massacre badgers because they might carry TB, and we test on animals for cosmetics, household products, personal care products, new vaccines and cures for diseases, because, after all this, humans are so important that we must protect human health at all costs. Some people don’t even care that their mink coat comes at the price of animals’ lives, or that their designer handbag comes from cows or snakes who were brutally killed and may have been skinned alive, or that their fancy, new perfume was tested on animals who never asked to be test subjects for humans! What did those pheasants ever do to you? How would you like to be shot for “fun”? Please find something kinder to do with your time instead! There are plenty of sports and hobbies that don’t involve animal cruelty! There are plenty of traditions that don’t involve cruelty, including local ones and variations on country sports that don’t involve cruelty, such as drag hunting with humanely muzzled hounds (with the hounds and horses being well-loved and cared for, of course!) and clay pigeon shooting (with well-loved, well-cared for and humanely-trained dogs, of course!)
