As someone that's been working in the music industry for 14 years I really appreciate this hyperpop genre. Taking pop music to a logical extreme while still making something actually catchy. They remind me a lot of kap bambino.

If you're looking for something else by 100 gecs that's similar to this, I'd go with "stupid horse". It's one of their most popular, and is also heavily influenced by ska. It also happens to be my favorite song of theirs, although "sympathy 4 the grinch" is giving it a real run for its money. Another good starting place is "ringtone". It's one of their more chill songs, and most like standard pop music. There's a remix version featuring Charli XCX, Rico Nasty, and Kero Kero Bonito, either version works, depending on how much of a purist you are. Other good songs to start with are "gec 2 Ü", "hand crushed by a mallet", and "money machine". Those go in order from least to most abrasive in my opinion, but hearing the more abrasive ones first lets you know what you're really in for. Honestly though, I recommend just listening to their album "1000 gecs" in full. There's not a bad song on there, and it spans a very wide variety of styles while still sounding like the same band. That said, I like your reactions and I love your voice, I will definitely be checking out more of your videos!

Listen to the whole 1000 gecs album. It's only 20ish minutes so it's a quick listen. My favorites from the album are: ringtone, stupid horse, gec 2 u, 100 dB cloud if you want to do some individual songs. I also recommend looking at their remix album as well. It's a really interesting approach with it being so star studded and each remix being so different from the originals to the point where yiu even get multiple remixes of the same song without it being weird at all

100 gecs is a great band! The top comment from B has some great recommendations but you're missing out if you don't also listen to Money Machine and Ringtone. They have some amazing remixes too, try the Charli XCX remix of Ringtone and the Fall Out Boy remix of Hand Crushed by a Mallet (my personal favourite 100 gecs song) once you get to grips with the original tracks! You seem like an awesome channel, I'll definitely subscribe! I love your energy and we need more Irish folk on KZbin!!!
