I own this mopping bot. The spray you have set on this was the half spray... because it was not shooting 2 parallel lines of water 3 and 5 inches out in front of it. I saw foam coming from the spray nozzle... which means you have too much cleaning solution in the mopper. You need to use a less concentrated water solution so you do not get foam at the nozzle port... and make sure your settings are correct. Jet Spray Amount should be max...and Deep Clean mode selected. Just some friendly advice. Also on heavy jobs... pre-wetting the entire pad helps for the beginning of the run. I would assume if you have a horrible mess as you put down... pre-wetting the pad would be an easy/most common sense thing to do. Just my 2 Cents... great videos... Keep it up!

I agree; it definitely should be set to deep clean mode and the maximum amount of spray for these types of tests.

This is fact. I have had hot suace, beer and coffee creamer on my floor get cleaned up by this beast no problem using mostly water. I'd say this is as close as it can get to human level mopping job quality thus far.

I have this mopping robot and I love it. It easily mops up the raw meat residue, yes my pup decides it taste better off of the floor. I have vinyl plank flooring. I use a generic mopping pad, i use 1/2 of solution and warm water. Sparkling clean floors with no streaking.

I think the m6 does a great job but just wish they would have included the vibrating cleaning head to help clean the floors better.
@ericgunner41213 жыл бұрын
I just got the M6 and honestly they must be selling improved units. I have yet to EVER in the 10 plus cleans its done have it get stuck, have any issue getting onto its base, or leave a mess. The wheels seem prime. The way it rolls over messes, just great. I've seen them act up on videos but mine has always been A1 since I got it just over a month ago. I was nervous but not at all now.

@@AdamsReviews I haven't really thought about the updates they have gone through too. Great videos though man. You got me debating between the Roborock S7 or getting the S9+.

I love my Braava 240 jet. It's small size makes it perfect for bathrooms, especially around the toilet. Also the iadapt 2.0 mapping, is adequate and the built in virtual wall allows you to do a pretty good job at splitting up areas. It's inability to map entire floor plans is a minus. But my floor space is small, so it's adequate for my home. The M6 has issues crossing floor transitions which kind of renders entire floorplan mapping a moot point. If iRobot wants to have a pure mop, then that mop should have the ability to map the entire floor plan independently of cleaning so that the user can define their own clean/keep out zones.

Someone I know who owns this is having issues with the sprayer. She’s dealt with tons of other issues as well. Her robot is currently at iRobot Repair Center. Someone else I know may be getting the S7 MAXV (Standard dock) during prime day or thanksgiving.

Can you use other cleaning solutions like BONA or just theirs?
@AdamsReviews3 жыл бұрын
Not 100% sure sorry
@thisandthatdailylife90813 жыл бұрын
@@AdamsReviews Thank you for replying. So kind. It seems others use different products so decided to order one. My guess based on other reviews is to just use something non foaming, non corrosive and not too strong ( diluted with water). Fingers crossed! Thanks for doing the video.

iRobot and BONA just came out with a new solution approved to be used in all Braava mop robots.

You need to clean the spray nozzle. As far as cleaning it cleans great, just bad wheel design.
@Hotsparks663 жыл бұрын
I like mine over the Deebot non vibrating mop. The 240 works great for small areas like bathrooms, however for main floors this will be a better option because of the mapping. One thing that I don’t believe was pointed out (I did some skipping) is with Lidar (laser) as he mentioned it usually maps on the first run. However this robot using vslam (camera) takes around 4 runs to fully map.

If you still have it you should try the shinebot, unless you sent it back or got rid of it in general. Even though I was considering getting one until I seen your review of it, I ended up getting it last week. I wonder if you got a dud, mine worked perfectly on my floors. Wood, tile ( smooth and very textured), and took it to work and did my office with me which is tile thats not too smooth but not too textured and every time it worked perfectly. Just with it had multiple roller options. Like have the soft roller it comes with and a brush type roller like the scoobas.

shame it has not vibrating pad like Braava 240

Eh, it's a lot more complexity and expense that can just be covered with a few more passes. I understand why people want it but I'll guarantee Roomba studied it and it wasn't worth it
I dont believe these Braava’s were built to handle tough duties. If you are a dirty living type person this product isn’t for you and you need a human cleaner. If you are a clean type of person and need help with keeping your floors clean this Braava or Shark Vacmop is the product for you. There are spills, messy areas that only a human can handle and not these things. Basically in other words it’ll assist with keeping a floors that are clean to keep it clean.
