The Neck Flex is the Best in the business. I own two. I have the Original which I use on cable machines, and the MMB Pro with the dog ears for plate loading. Either can do both, but I prefer the dog ears for plates. These are hands down the most comfortable, durable, and flat out professional neck harnesses in production. When I say professional I mean College to Pro football, MMA, Boxing, or whatever your sport may be into. This is the real deal. I doubt I will ever wear either out. The harnesses are padded with high quality material which goes easy on your skull. Even the toughest domes need a little love. The rings are of high quality steel, well placed, and large enough to hook into with no problems. The materials are second to none. I doubt your neck could ever support enough weight to break one. I don't doubt I could hook a chain to the material of one of these, and pull my diesel pick up with it. The harnesses are fully adjustable with a super high quality hook, and loop systems. Great fit for every melon big, or small. The neck strap is well positioned, and adjustable also. It couldn't be more obvious a lot of time, and effort went into the design of the Neck Flex harness. These are some of the best pieces of exercise equipment I've ever purchased at any price. Pick one or more up for your neck routine. You WONT regret it. Thanks NF! I'm a huge fan of TNF But why don't you update the chinstrap to the same PASGT suspension system design? This way its like a WW2 chinstrap choking you out. Is this something you will consider for future updates?

We have a model coming out with a modified chin strap in the near future. However, we have never gotten a complaint from the current chin strap. It is padded and comfortable. Thanks for your question

However, having used both chinstrap designs that's the only point of improvement I can suggest to make it even better. why is rotation necessary? is it more effective?

Good question. Rotation is just another tool in the box to train your neck. It is not necessary. The most effective way to train neck is flexion and extension. However, for pain, rehab and to mix it up for fastest results, throw in some rotation too.

this seems *similar* to iron-neck--but here's why it doesn't seem like it's exactly the same: ironneck provides tension while you are doing 'neck twist', whereas the pulley on this does not seem to let you adjust its tension, so with this pulley you can do neck twist, but the twisting muscles aren't being used that much b/c the pulley is no-tension. The woman that is moving in the horizontal plane *while twisting* is sort of similar (and undoubtedly has some benefit) but the pulley is still zero tension. If someone makes a pulley for this where you can adjust the tension in the pulley wheel (maybe you'd need a screwdriver?) then it would be *exactly* like iron neck.

After pondering this deeper, now I'm thinking that standing still and doing a neck twist with iron neck would be the *same* forces as moving in the horizontal+twisting the neck with your pulley attachment. So although there's a slight inconvenience of sort of doing a 'double movement', it is a big saving of money. So I do think it can work. I googled and can't actually find a simple pulley where you can adjust tension, but this double movement does approximate the same effect I think. So all good.

The two base models of Iron Neck don't offer rotational resistance / tension. Their high end product +$600 (taxes shipping without sale) does, but it is lacks functionality compared to rotational resistance using simply the Neck Flex harness and the band. @@NeckFlexOfficial I couldn’t agree more. I just returned the high end 3.0 pro model. I was disappointed when I finally got the correct model (pro) in the mail after two failed attempts by their company. And even the upgraded tension knob didn’t seem to matter for rotation because the entire device is just plastic. It gets stuck, shifts around too much and very awkward to use. For that kind of money I’d expect it to be made of high grade aluminum, ball bearings, carbon fiber…and still would be lacking in the other planes of motion mentioned in this video. It just came across a bit gimmicky. Though I do plan on looking into your products very soon. Neck Flex seems to be an all around superior product in this market. The “strong neck” reviewed by Mark Wildman seems like the minimalist approach, but it all just depends on the user’s end goal.
