Wasted Years is one of those terrific songs that lends its self to being covered by lots of people. I’ve listened to probably about three dozen covers of Wasted Years from ‘no names’ all the way to ‘huge names’ and most of them are pretty good. Some of them are great! Melanie arrives, gently nods and politely moves to the front of the pack, and delivers arguably, one of the BEST covers of this song EVER !!!

Meine Güte... Erstens... Warum stolper ich einfach über euch? Zweitens... warum nicht schon eher? Drittens... Dieser Song bedeutet mir so viel seit meiner Kindheit! Damit hat mein älterer Bruder mich an die metallische Musik herangeführt... Ich vermisse die gemeinsame Zeit von damals sehr. Ihr habt mir den Song aber jetzt richtig in den Kopf gemeißelt... Diese Version ist, und das mit Verlaub, die beste nach dem Original. Da ist sowas von einer krassen Menge an Herzblut und Gefühl zu spüren...
