+pious83 to extent, except for the second hulk buster and the Phoenix buster, i think they have all done their jobs. most of the time they were made to be able to at least go toe to toe with their respective opponents. I think the first hulk buster, Thor buster, and the panther buster (not it's official name, but whatever) met that goal.

+Bane's Right Hand Man That wasn't "destroying" adamantium though. He simply "moved" it from inside Wolverine to outside Wolverine, albeit insanely painfully and damaging, lol. Still didn't "destroy" the metal, and he couldn't destroy Vibranium either obviously. Not sure what you're point was with that comment. All he did there was fuck up Wolverine royally. Didn't destroy the metal really. That's not really his power. Moving/bending/manipulating is not destroying.

You know, it occurs to me that Tony Stark exemplifies the worst ideals of America. Specifically: I'm GOING to be involved in every conflict I can, it WILL go the way I want it to, and if you resist me, I'll lie and cheat to make sure I win. Just look at it all: Refusing to allow innocent people to be avenged (against Thor in this case), tearing the entire Marvel community to ribbons (the Civil War and many black-bag ops that kept it going on Stark company funds, including the abomination cyber-clone of Thor), making promises he knew he couldn't keep (lookin' at telling Pete to go public as Spidey here), and multiple instances of creating a worse situation to avoid a "situation". The man is just an alcoholic techno-geek dickbag. There, I said it. Oh, so it's not just the general populace then? I agree that all characters are forced to play out as written (Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe), but WHY make these iconic characters such asses? I just think we've been led in the wrong direction, and the people in charge at Marvel know it. Thus the new universe. After the fiasco that was the House of M, and the massive polarization during and after Civil War, they had no other way to clean it up. The former story was well written, and the latter brought a fresh perspective on the dichotomy of good versus evil in the Marvel universe, but the outcomes of BOTH were DROSS. And now we destroy... oh excuse me, MERGE, the multiverse? I think they're flailing here.

Some of the Ultimate Iron Man armors share some similarities with the 616 Iron Man armors,like the Repulsor Rays,Uni Beam,jet boots,etc. But in my opinion, the 616 Armors are far more advanced than any armor Ultimate Antonio Stark has ever created.
