More weight = more thrust needed= More fuel=Higher energy demand. But definitively a solid idea, least from a Pr point of view. They should also do the jets abit more free form and or mini adjusting jets to balance things out through a computer system. Like bigger jet on back going down, two smaller ones on the lower back that can adjust, along with 2 more on the back on the sides that can adjust. Maybe have the jets on the bottom side and top side of arm. or one on each side of the arm. Shoulder ones for adjusting. In short similar to what we see in games/tv shows with spaceships(as in actual ships). smaller thrust vectors to adjust flight. Etc. ^.^ Ah The Bright future ahead if this can take off and become common(pardon the pun).

Yes ! It would take away the risk of severe damage of the pilot in case of a crash. If the protective suit was made out of light weight carbon and titan alloy it would not need much more thrust to compensate the additional weigt. Also the suit should be equipped with emergency airbags positioned around the neck, chest , arms and legs to compensate the crash energy from ... lets say 20 - 30 meters ( automatical blow up of the airbags in case of an uncontrolled flight path ( monitored by an altimeter ).... and a manual switch to activate the airbags ! ) Flying has always been dangerous and the pilot is a very fragile "freight". I hope you guys from Gravity Industries will achieve all your goals and present us "normal people" a good show what mankind already can achieve in these days. 50.00 - 100.000 $ for 3 days flight training is something only the rich of our society can spent. The rest is just watching and enjoying Best regards, Ken
@randyyeh75766 жыл бұрын
that is true.. however putting exoskeleton will simply get into the way for you trying to balance ur flight since you are putting your thrusters on your arms... however having that there can also prevent you from arm sore after long flight and potential arm injury/muscle injury

Now THAT is the MOST intelligent line in all of the posts for this video. For the Government will send some or some from the elite(the same), and they will offer him a lot of money but WITH conditions, and if he refuse, they just kill him and steal his work, like they have done with so many others. Like the guy there made the Car there ran on water, same with Nicola Tesla, he was killed of financially through Rothschild when he wanted to give it free to the world. accidentally, it was Donald Trumps Uncle there did empty Teslas Safe in his Hotel room where he was found dead and a broken man. This is a proven fact. Today they run whole small Citys on Tesla Coils. Just as a interesting-note/. In TV News they said Pentagon had shown interest for the water Car, but he wanted the ordinary people to have this Car also, (See the full oil industry break, the elite panics along with all the Oil Robber Barons) and 2 weeks after he was killed and all papers stolen and Car smashed. This is how they do if people not take both money and CONDITIONS, and He basically do not own his own product after taken money and allowed the Government inside. THERE the game is lost if what you have is worth ANY! Peace bro

so if you know anything about car ABS systems, they have a control module used to regulate braking to different wheels based on how each wheel is spinning, if one tire starts to lose traction the ABS system will divert braking to that wheel pulsating it until it gets traction back. could you use a similar module to essentially regulate thrust through the engines based on a gyroscope that feeds data back to a PCM module that helps stabilize?

I know that I am giving away a huge idea however,I suggest that you make a flying “Race course” that resides just above a very large foam pit. It is more expensive that flying over water due to repare cost and falling at the right height or at the right speed water can feel like concrete. You can own a large foam field that you can host events on and the field over time generates more income for the brand/business. It can even become a huge sport one day (think glider suit competitions). Another advantage of a foam put vs. flying over water is that you can focus less on trying to water proof parts. @Smallpoun on IG

That’s amazing! I couldn’t imagine what our military might have by now? Right?

I doubt it. Government fund NASA....but Elon Musk with private investment has achieved far more. Private Enterprise is not so wasteful of money.

Dont need to scratch your ass with hands when you got miniature jet thrusters to do it for you👌

6:45 forget telling them you do gymnastics and can balance on two hands, which gives you better control on the thrust side also balance.
@abdelrahmanhamdy24264 жыл бұрын
He's not just balancing on two hands, the jetpack on his back is also applying force, which seems to be most of the force, too. Looks like the arms are more for controlling direction. I don't think normal people can balance solely on their arms for 8-10 minutes

This gave me goosebumps. Im not sayin its bad or good, but Hollywood foreshadows society.

That's pretty cool. Might that it'll need a way to stabilize the system. But... it's looking great! Step by step.

Now the entire suit needs to look like iron man!! Make it happen!!
@mikemarks61366 жыл бұрын
G0LDENTHUNDER77 this is more like falcon
@zeroline196 жыл бұрын
Even if you have the suit, you still need the arc reactor as the source of power to his entire suit. This build is using jet fuel. If he ever add wings to this build, the wings can be programmed using arduino, so he has more aerodynamic control and it can be folded. So currently, Falcon is more plausible.

@freedom2815 жыл бұрын
EXACTLY why I find this bad.
@phillipallen34685 жыл бұрын
Exactly. The military had ten-times better tech than this some 50 years ago, at least. And a lot of other things besides. That's why EVERYTHING they do is always "classified". Bunch of BS. This tech should be in the public's hands -- today.
@DJ.Generation5 жыл бұрын
Honestly, If the military is being efficient then they have swarms of drones with machine guns and missle launchers. Why even use humans and waste the money on research and design when you have flying automated systems that are way more efficient and effective. If anything an iron man suit would be a pet project for them just for fun and the look, it is way less efficient and a budget killer as far as practicality goes.
@walteryoung34924 жыл бұрын
@@DJ.Generation maybe the navy could use it in a way to transport forces from on ship to another in a dire situation. Its just a thought but its really cool

This reminds me of a toy line and corresponding cartoon show called "Centurions" back in the '80s. The heroes wore exoskeletons to which machines attached, making them "man and machine-POWER EXTREME!!!"

Looks great. What sort of safety feature does it have if engines fail or does it have a height restriction? The Martin Jetpack had many years of delay for public use until a rocket deployed parachute was developed for safety.
