Iron Marines Full Review - Should You Buy It?

I am not sponsored in any way by Ironhide Studios! This is a legit review. I love the game :) I did read off a script while making the video. I felt like it was more organized, but I'm not sure if it turned out as a good video. Anyways, enjoy :)

I'm not an avid gamer, nor a particularly skilled player, but I do love Ironhide games and I'm looking forward to playing this soon. I think that the fact that it only gives you around 20 hours of gameplay is quite acceptable considering its target audience is mobile gamers, the majority being people who like to pick up and play for a level or two and then get back to work, family, whatever. Also, I loved the early Command and Conquer games (showing my age now). This looks like an Ironhide version of C&C! Perfect!!

Origins was before the original Kingdom Rush started, Kingdom Rush frontiers was suppost to be the end, but that alien at the creddits that got the red crystal just says that there will be another sequel.

Iron hide studios definitely is the best making mobile games, the kingdom rush series is my favorite defense tower game of all and this game is also so unique and fun, and the best of it, is a easy to play game

Many have tried to copy paste Ironhide games , but no other studio does it this well. They stood the test of time and also released KR Vengance and that is also a good game.

I feel like it definitely will be more difficult on a small screen. Controlling units can be difficult. I played on an ipad pro, so I definitely had no issues!

I think that Iron Marines is either commencing before, or after the original Kingdom Rush series, I mean, We have already seen aliens in Kingdom Rush Frontiers, and the main clue that there might be a mix up, is that Sha'tra In both game hero menu's, and further more, Kingdom Rush Frontiers ended with an alien picking up that crystal, so does that mean that the alien will be in new Iron Marines world? Or just in the sequels? Because i woudn't be surprised if Ironhide made a mix of both games...

Games really fun, but theres a bit of lack of content and there should have been more depth to the customization of squads, like being able to change marines to tanks or to strong units against groups

If there going to add new world I hope the kingdom rush world is one of them. There's already pirates, zombies, aliens, robot's, ninjas, lizard people, and (dwarf controlled) mechs. At this point throwing in the iron marines wouldn't really be that bad of an idea. Especially if they have a reasons for being there.

Question about the controls? I played last night and I can't find a way to A) Select all units on screen and B) Attack move. Two really important options most all RTS games have. Do you know how to do these control options? Are they even available?

You can't attack move. You can click on multiple units at once by double tapping one unit near them. It only counts for units that are within a certain radius.

I don't think it has micro transactions though. Once you buy the game everything is 100% completable within a few days no more money required.

True. But you know what's even less cool? Shoving the premium heroes to my face in Kingdom Rush 123 every time i go to hero management screen. Every single time. The normal heroes I can use be scrolled off screen to the left and what's visible are the premium heroes that I cant use unless I buy them. I'm a paying customer and they do that to me. Obnoxious af m8. I don't trust those guys anymore.
