Awesome suspension just put it on my tundra, use to have rough country 4in spacer lift and air bags in the rear(used truck) ride quality was very poor. Rear end bounce was bad even with multiple PSI changes in air bags. Changed out the lift with the pro foam stage 2 system ride is so much better, on road you feel the bumps like normal but not something that jolts you. Off road it works great so smooth, took it to the beach and hit some deep ruts at speed and just soaked them up. Great product, great value highly recommend. Customer support is some of the best I've ever dealt with chat is a real person that will give you a real number to talk to them and actually help not just reading a script.

you can un bolt the brake like on the frame rail and tighten the control arm nut with a proper torque wrench. this nut is common to back off and wreck havoc like bad game of domino. when that nut comes off the upper a arm bolt walks forward and things start breaking

Planning on installing my coil over in the next month, thanks for this!! I haven’t ever touched my UCA, why would I need to loosen the bolt? Does it allow to travel up more? Thanks ahead of time. New to this.
@cpwned
@cpwned 3 жыл бұрын
I understand now. It’s all about pre loading the bushing. With the UCA starting point lower now because of the lift, the nut and bolt need to be tighten at the new height of the truck so that the preload of the bushing is correct for the new height. Right?
@Ironman4x4America
@Ironman4x4America 3 жыл бұрын
Loosening the UCA bolt just makes it easier to rotate the UCA up out of the way during the coil-over install. Enjoy!

I have a foam cell pro on my Land Cruiser - about to buy a 2015 Tundra and I'm wondering how this would compare to the TRD Pro ride. I've heard the ride it pretty plush, I presume due to the piggy back system. I know there are multiple factors governing ride quality.

@Ironman4x4America
@Ironman4x4America 9 ай бұрын
Ride quality is very subjective and is greatly affected by weight. If you have the appropriate amount of weight on the truck for the type of springs you have in your front and rear suspension then the ride quality will be fantastic. But if you are oversprung or undersprung then the ride quality will be compromised. Also be sure to think of your tires as part of your suspension recipe keeping tire types, load range ratings, and tire pressures in mind. For more info be sure to contact our customer service team and they can help guide you with planning a suspension setup.

Ironman 4x4's components are robust and built bigger / stronger / tuffer'r than OEM and other aftermarket offerings, and ours our greasable. You can give it a try but mostly our dimensions are larger. Measure first, measure first again, and then make sure to measure...

Our Foam Cell Pro lift gives you 3.5 inches on the Tundra. The FCP shocks and coil overs are nearly a 3.0 in diameter.

So what was the total lift on this truck ? Also if my tacoma has a 3” lift should i have only 1 carrier bearing spacer ? I noticed you installed 2 on this tundra .
@Ironman4x4America
@Ironman4x4America 2 жыл бұрын
Our Tundra lift in this video gives you roughly a 3.5" lift. Because of this, the Tundra requires more spacers on the carrier bearing compared to the Tacoma.

I’m a bit confused about his jack placement though. He mentioned it but didn’t really show everything. In the rear, his only jack stands are on the axle, correct? What about the front? And is the bottle jack just holding the position or does he use that to lift/lower any?
@dangerdanadv1445
@dangerdanadv1445 Жыл бұрын
I know it's a year later, but in case anyone else has this same question: I believe he used 6 total jack stands. Initially, he jacked up the rear via the axle to get to the U bolts and he supports the pinion angle. At 10:09, he jacks the frame up off of the axle to pull off the leaf spring, and presumably uses two more jack stands under the rear of the frame. Add in the jack stands under the front of the vehicle and voila, 6x jack stands.
