I ran a 5:05 marathon at Mont Tremblant this year. I walked 3km. My walking pace was ~9:00/km. My running pace was ~7:00/km. My PB open half marathon pace is 5:36/km (1:58:14 half marathon) Trust me, Lionel's definition of 'walking' is my idea of a PB half marathon.
@bogdanbahura72026 жыл бұрын
Haha, I'm in same situation here.And if you check how many Heart beats per minutes is having you are thinking that he is walking at fast pace all the way through a triathlon.

What would Lionel Sanders do? That´s what I ask my self when the alarm goes of at 5 am and I just feel like snoozing until 6:30 instead of hitting the asphalt. That question get me jumping out of the bed and heading out in the dark energized and motivated. You rock Lionel! #NoLimits

@Thai Idol Cam He said he did 112 laps, or and 3/4 of an Ironman. An Ironman is 180km, 3/4 of that is 135. 135 divided by 112 is 1.2. So, every lap is 1.2km or 0.74 miles.

I'm jealous. I tweaked my knee three weeks ago and my furthest run since has been 4.4 miles and it frustrates me so much. I took an entire week off during those three weeks and have been icing and it is still bothering me so i don't push it....I'd go to the doctor, but something tells me they would tell exactly what I already know to do and in the U.S. you typically will only go to the doctor if you absolutely have to. You're looking good man, keep it up.

Respect. Nicely done. Yet, your bottle mate should change the way to hand you new bottles. The way he does it it’s a risk for nim and you. The bottle should be placed on flat palm as it was a table. Cause if Henia grabbing it, wrong timing may result in the biker falling down.

Great video, but why the continual reference to one week ago at Mont Tremblant, when it was one month ago ? As for the race track, I didn't see any hills on it; hope the jarring hasn't set up a fester of saddle sores which could bring a man to his knees half way through kona.

Looking good , venous system looks full, veins up and not flat. So given the sweat rate that should be good. Would try and conserve more fluid . Would think about more salt in, that will draw in more fluid and allow you to drink more - remember you'll not absorb as much as you put out so you might need to replace a bit more. Be careful with the not needing to pee, its always advisable to be able to pee, not need to but be able to, the kidney function is seriously reduced during exercise of this type and further stressing it is not good. Slightly more fluid and more salt will benefit you in the heat
