I admire your ability to deliver that much information and spoken so consistently and easy to follow. Wish I had that ability to speak quickly and intelligently. Good job. Very interesting. My Grandfather Sprinkle worked and lived and was born in Birdseye, Ind. and made his living in the woods. He would go into a woods and tell the potential buyer how much lumber was there.

The walnut is a beautiful wood. One of our favorites here in the states. We work together, to reach our goals. It gives a great sense of accomplishment. We enjoy sharing the videos. It depends on what type of wood you are cutting to how long a blade lasts. Typically about 300 to 500 board feet of lumber. They can be resharpened, and work very well.

As much as I enjoy watching that Wood Mizer do its thing, I would really like to see what happens to all the finished slab wood you create with it - does it go to craftsmen who turn it all into killer dining or coffee tables, or other kinds of furniture? Perhaps you could expand your present platform to include those who buy wood straight from your mill and follow what they do next to add additional value. Everyone's looking for a unique hook to get more viewers in an already crowded sea of sawmill operators who gab and slab on YT - developing video partnerships with those who take what you create and turn it into functional accessories or works of art just might be the ticket.
@IronOakSawmill2 жыл бұрын
We currently post customer creations on our FB page. Just still shots though. Maybe a compilation video of some of those photos would be a good start. Tough to keep track of so many people, and their projects, but it could be done.
