I'd love to print out this recipe. How do I do that? Im not seeing a link to a website. The only way I see right now is to rewatch the video and pause every few seconds to write out the ingredients list myself. What am I missing? Thanks for your help.

How necessary is it to even add mayo to the blended mix? It seems thick and flavorful as it is, perhaps whisking in additional egg yolks would do.
@oggimojokitchen4 ай бұрын
The traditional method involves starting with raw eggs and whisking until you achieve a mayonnaise consistency. Although it may be slightly thinner, this consistency thoroughly coats the romaine while maintaining a high standard of food safety.

It looks so good! My mistake is putting watery fruits like tomatoes and cucumber on my salad and it turned into soup.

Is it authentic dressing for Caesar salad
@oggimojokitchen Жыл бұрын
Is it authentic dressing for Caesar salad? Well, I can't guarantee that Julius Caesar himself whipped it up, but it's pretty darn close!

Original recipe has no mayo. But I will try with mayo. I think I will use honey mustard too
@oggimojokitchen9 ай бұрын
The original recipe was made out of raw eggs and lemon juice whisked together to make a mayonnaise consiatamcy as a part of the dressing base. Mayonnaise is a safe shortcut to avoid consuming the raw eggs. Honey mustard is also made the same way making a mayo base and adding honey and other ingredients. Honey mustard is also a delicious dressing.

sorry but butter lettuce ain't gonna "cut the mustard" in a caesar salad & will instantly become soggy & wimpy....personally I prefer baby gem lettuce... coz it stays crispy !

It's so cool when we tweak a recipe to our liking and it turns out fantastic. Your suggestion of using baby gem lettuce is a total winner!

Looks very interesting but this recipe is far, far different than the original Caesar salad. I know there are many variations, but this one really should not be called a Caesar at all.

While not "authentic" it is "irresistible" with the quick mayo method. 🤩
