That lady is correct that older men run the risk of producing babies that could have various birth defects, but the overall risk is really very low. Al Pachino had his son, Roman Pachino, with his 29 year old girlfriend, Noor Alfallah, at age 83. 80 year old Robert De Niro fathered a daughter, Gia, with his girlfriend, Tiffany Chen. Tony Randall had his first child at age 75 and his second around a year later, with his 25 year old wife. I'm 63 and have no children. Idk if l want to have one in the future or not. I'll see how my significant other will feel about it when I come to the Philippines and find her.

Sorry but the risk is not low. Comparing an average 30 year old man with an average 80 year old man is high risk. Celebrities Pacino and Deniro are worth a BIllion Dollars combined. They can afford healthcare, sperm donors, PR and lawyers. Subsequent generations may also be affected.

​@jeretso try to read and comprehend. Show me where I said the risk is low. I said the "OVERALL" risk is low. Pay attention to key words, boss. The risk is higher for older men to produce unhealthy babies, but it shouldn't be a deterrent for older men who want to become fathers because the "OVERALL" risk is low. A decade of research has shown that. The error I made in my original comment was to say the overall risk is really very low, when I should have said (according to the research findings) the overall risk is still low.

I'm 65, fit and a youthful outlook. But let's be realistic. I don't want children, so to deny a young Filipina who does is just plain wrong. Personally, I wouldn't want anyone younger than 45 to 50, who has older children. Imagine being 65 and having a child with a 20 year old. When the child turns 20 you'd be close to your death bed 🤷‍♂️ Keep it REAL 🤔

It’s only the foreigners that these young women are going for. So you have to ask, is it that age is just a number or is it that these foreigners have money to provide for these women and their families? 🤔

Money is a factor but it's not the only factor, consider some other possible differences between a Philipino man, the foreigner, might be taller, physically stronger, with a deeper voice and more masculine characteristics, he might have blue or green eyes, which some women love, and he might be less likely to cheat so when comparing a 25-30 year old Philipino man to a 35-45 year old foreigner for example, you have to realize that money isn't the only difference between them. If all things were equal the Filipina would probably choose a younger local, but all things aren't equal and the foreigner should consider what else he has to offer besides money, maybe a stable and confient attitude, masculine characteristics, he's ready to plan a bright future together, he cares about her family and her dreams, and so on and so on. However it's also unreasonable for a fat, lazy foreigner to just think he deserves a great woman becasue he has a bit of money, that's totally wrong and i'm against it!!!

i think 20 and 65 is a pretty big gap, but 25 and 45 isn't bad at all, it's even normal in a lot of parts of eastern Europe which are most developed than the Philipines. So it's intersting the the Philipines is quickly adapting to some western mentalities faster than it's actually developing. I still think the Phillipines is amazing, but it's just surprising. I would be glad to see an interview where you ask about 20 something filipinas with 40 or 50s guy. I also think many 65 year old guys would be thrilled with very kind and supportive 45 year old filipinas. I have to uncles in their 60s and they're both used to such terrible, nagging, fat women in their 60s, so a kind hearted filipina at any age would be a massive improvement.

For a 65 year old man is it creepy that a young Filipina would be interested?? Not at all. Why? At that age a 65 would generally have more resources than average younger man. Plus a younger man with the resources does NOT have to go to the Philippines for a partner. The older man does not have many years ahead before he dies and those resources go to his young wife who no longer has to attend to her partners senility and can start her new life whilst young and with resources that would NOT normally be available to her if not for her MUCH older foreign spouse.

I'm a 66 year old man I visited the Philippines 22 times up until 2019. I admit I met many young women who were way younger than me. I only met them because it was easy to meet it was never a precondition of payment. My point is that the women I met all on tinder or Filipina cupid were willing and there was never any pressure to do so. I will always treasure the time I had and the lovely woman I met 🤗

I love how everyone thinks they have the right to judge other people's relationship. I myself am 25 years younger than my wife, and because I know where many will go right away, I make twice as much money as she does.We have been together for 15 years and married for 10. She has been in 2 marriages with guys who were close to her age. She was cheated on and beaten in those relationships. I have also been married to someone my age. We were not compatible in many ways. She is the best thing that ever happened to me. The only bad thing is I know there is a strong possibility i will lose her way before I go. Haters are going to hate. Lover are gonna love. Live and let live. That is not to say that an adult should take advantage of a child, but what 2 consenting adults do with their lives is their business.

I'm 66 from the US and yes, it seems very unrealistic (aka creepy) to me. A woman that young has not matured and has little life experience, at some point you actually have to have a conversation. I would wager there are plenty of older (not necessarily old, just older) ladies that would be better much better suited to an older man. Also, for any age gap, the guy would morally need to be sure that money is set aside in some sort of trust or endowment for the long term support for his younger wife. It would be so unfair to steal her best days only to leave her penniless after he more than likely precedes her in passing on.

Lorie, you really picked a good group to interview in this episode. Now I will give you the opinion of an older man. I am 78 and in good health but I would never even consider inflicting myself on a much younger female. It would not be fair to her. I took care of my wife (54+ years of wedded bliss) up until 4 days before she passed and never resented it but I would not consider wasting the youth of a young female. If I were travelling to the PI seeking a mate, I would be looking at mature women in the 65+ are range.

If the relationship is solid and he takes care of her for the future by providing means for her and children after he passes then that is okay. It is bad if the man uses the woman to be discarded but that can happen both ways.

The real problem with a very wide age gap is tied to life expectancy and (if children are in the mix) how it is very likely they will grow up without a father. But these are things that one can choose to accept or refuse to bring into their lives. There is nothing "creepy" about any relationship between 2 adults. If two people want to be together, the natural healthy adult reaction is to wish them well. Anything less is a reflection on your own personal issues and should be kept to yourself.

The Filipina Girl's that I know, Pretty Much Only Contact Me whenever They Need Money 💰 The Older Filipina Women I know, They Contact Me more often yet it's bc They are Older & Have More Patience. The real question is what age would they marry the same man throughout his life, 20, 30, 40 etc... the real answer will be closest to their age if it's about love because in an ideal world they'd have the longest amount of time with their partner and the least amount of health issues, generational interest disparity, physical capabilities... Let's ask another question. Why would a 65 year old man NEED to date an 18-30 year old woman? That is a woman's prime for having children. A man 30-50 I could see 12-20(18->30 , 30->50) year age gap if the intent was to start a family. Some men take longer to establish themselves. Once a woman is 40+ and children are not a major factor then all is fair. What's the real intent? Excitement, ego validation, companionship for him, and financial security, status and a better life for her. We know physical attraction is highest in women the closer the age. Let's be real, we only extremely rarely see an 18 year old guy with a 65 year old woman. That tells us too that there is a gender difference in preferences. What it comes down to is the person's choice, once you are 18+ you have free agency over your body and how you conduct yourself. What is my personal opinion is that modern women are trading their prime years for cheap returns and ending up childless and alone or as single mothers which are not as desirable to the men she would want. A man wants a "blank slate" for a wife so she learns him and responds to his needs and their family needs. Men and women both are less open as we age, hard life lessons make us tougher, and men like softer women, and that can mean a lot of different things to different people. Women are attracted to status, wealth and competence. Western men typically have white skin = status, wealth=pension. competence=comes with age(not always but usually, had to survive to 65 somehow). These same men are less appreciated in their home countries because what they offer is deemed not as significant and now they've found a place where they're rock stars. I've been to The Philippines and I have seen countless vloggers and more talking about it. Let's not act like these aren't facts. Let me shift course now and be a little pro age gap again. The type of life we lead can determine our resilience and maturity as we come into our adult lives. That said, western women have the privilege and luxury of a soft life where their feelings are validated. It's also an egocentric society propped up on massive amounts of attention. In contrast Filipinas generally grow up poorer and appreciate the small things in life. Culturally men are not as openly complimentary to women or soft and sympathetic to emotions unless he's courting her. I think that younger Filipinas are typically more emotionally mature at younger ages, however, I also see them as more vulnerable to predatory males. The mass amount of attention western women received caused them to not appreciate what western men offered and how to handle that attention. Filipinas are not used to the "game" so much and I can see them falling fast and hard. Every person is different and it's all generalized.

all these commenters giving their opinion about others show the kind of scrutiny your relationship would face. This question was about a family IN THE Philippines. The stature of the man depends upon his character and resources as a loyal provider and leader. The status of the woman depends upon her fertility and mothering ability. The combination needs to be harmonious and fit into the extended family. A filipina expects to have her first child by the mid 20s, health complications are much greater a decade later. An established man would be at least 35 and rare amongst Filipinos. They migrate to major cities or overseas, the ones who return tend to come with families. A foreigner boyfriend migrating to the PH will need to bring his own resources so usually retired 55+. The age gap that matters is between the filipina and her grandchildren.

There are a lot of 65 year olds that took care of themselves and look 10 and sometimes 15 years younger. Shoot , I had a travel friend that was 80 , slim and trim and looked a good healthy 65 ,and he worked and got around better than most 45 year olds untill he got Methopyliaoma , a cancer caused by asbestas, which can set in your body for decades untill it comes to frutation. He was as strong, and had more energy then most men half his age until his death. He said he was diognosed with diabetes when he was 60 , thats when he went on a health trip and beat it and he never let up living healthy. And his face had a glow of pure health. At 74 he had a GF in Colombia that was 33 and at 75 he married another Colombian gal that was 40. He was was worth about 6 million ,but you wouldnt know it, he was extremely tight with his money, and he would drop a girl immediatley if she started asking for money. Ive always tried to live healthy , so he really inspired my health journey. And yes i know that there are some 45 year olds that look 65 years old or older. There are no shortage of them. I personally that know a few that couldnt put the cigaretes and bottle down.

Generally, a good portion of filipinas are more open to find a man who is much older than they are compared to the west. In my opinion, I don't think there is anything wrong with it either. As long as they get along and love each other, is all that matters. There's always going to be naysayers and critics, however Just do what feels right for you. My filipina is 32 and I'm almost 46. There's no issues with us. On another note, someone deleted my comment on the last interview you did as I made a negative comment about one of the ladies you interviewed. Wow! I like her the Filipina wearing the eyeglasses. I wonder whether she's in a master's or doctoral degree program? Indeed, there is one thing that is sure...she's a graduate from a university there. She was listings the possibilities which a 45-year age gap would present. Age doesn't matter concerning medical probabilities because 20ish males globally have children with severe problems. And the situation in PI is especially of concern because of the lack of clean water, food scarcity, pollution and so forth further compounds this situation. And this is further exacerbated when factoring Filipinas with inadequate medical and health factors on top of that. Moreover, a 65-year foreign male wouldn't be searching for a 20ish Filipina. Although she's young, she doesn't bring positives to such a relationship because of the lack of maturity. Unfortunately, he would be raising his children along with a 20-yr old wife who might be incapable for parenting obligation mission. Therefore, the best age range for such males are 30ish Filipinas for serious relationships. This checks off the maturity factor. Hopefully, that she'll have had employment experience which developed her conscience of the value & usage of spending and saving money. Although the forementioned Filipina suggested that when he dies that chaos will ensue for his family. She is wrong here because obviously he should've life insurance policies and other retirement payment schemes in place. Therefore, when he dies such proactive policies will offset any lifestyle problems. Also, each child will've his/her trust fund to ensure their undergrad, grad and/or professional (MD, DO, DMD, JD, LLB) educations. Finally, she shouldn't remarry because of targeting situations where nefarious unscrupulous foreigners and Filipinos will be after what her deceased foreign husband developed with her. These guys would marry her and unfortunately attempt to acquire properties in her demise. And, she also has to treat her family the same way in order to avert deliberate exploitation and manipulation situations. Now, what matters the most is that His and Her family should always be first...period!

The lady who thinks a 65 year old man who becomes a father has a high chance of birth defects is not correct. There is a slightly higher chance but only a small increase. The much greater factor is the age of the mother. Women who are 35+ who have children have a much higher chance of birth defects.

if there willing to be with a older man in his final stages of his life. remember if the Filipina has a child the children will not have a father at there teenage life. if you after money make sure all documents are in the Filipina wife. prenup she is screwed. if he has ex-wife or older children she screwed. I seen to many single mothers with children and foreigner passed away leaving her with nothing.

She would have to be mature and we would have to have common interests to talk about. Otherwise, it's probably just a physical relationship. Which is fine if both people know that. When will they see they are contradicting themselves, and showing what they say is NOT TRUE. Lady: "Age doesn't matter." Lorie: "Would you date an older man?" Lady: "No," so it DOES MATTER! I do agree with Carmela, a young Filipina hasn't had time to mature and figure out what she wants out of life yet. Too large an age gap and the 2 don't have much in common, HOWEVER, if she is open minded and wants to broaden her horizons, the old foreigner has seen a lot in life and can teach her and they can grow together. No offense to her, but I disagree with Tanie, if you love someone, you don't need to develop feelings for them because love is a feeling, so you already have feelings for them. Is 65 to creepy for a young Filipina? That is a loaded question, what age is a young Filipina, when does it start and when does it stop. Age is only a number (both yes and no) it really is a modern construct because older men in the past often married younger brides because a lot of women died in child birth. Also, to live to an older age as a man you probably had both good health genetics and some wealth as well, both which are important to women, maybe less so today. To each their own. I am sure there are many judgemental people in the Philippines like elsewhere, she only married him for his money, he is just a pervert.... and so on. Did Anna Nicole Smith love 86-year-old petroleum tycoon J. Howard Marshall? I think yes. Did she find him attractive? No. Was she in it for the money? Of course. So a young Filipina may actually love that 65 year old, not be sexually attracted to them and in it for the money as well, that isn't creepy but life, you don't always get 100% of what you want in a relationship.

😀,The average life expectancy of a Filipino woman is 72.3 years (74 years) and for Western men around 85-89 years. So it depends a lot on how their western physical condition in appearance, health, nutrition, sport etc. influences this so that the age of these western men can only be a number.Overweight men and women are then also more subject to a lower life expectancy. So if you outlive Filipino women by more than 10 years as a Western man, then you should also include this in your calculations. Then there are more and more western men and women who live to be 100 years old and more, so if I consider that I might outlive a Filipino woman with more than 30 years at the age of 100+ then you can only laugh at the age differences. 😂

The real question is what age would they marry the same man throughout his life, 20, 30, 40 etc... the real answer will be closest to their age if it's about love because in an ideal world they'd have the longest amount of time with their partner and the least amount of health issues, generational interest disparity, physical capabilities... Let's ask another question. Why would a 65 year old man NEED to date an 18-30 year old woman? That is a woman's prime for having children. A man 30-50 I could see 12-20(18->30 , 30->50) year age gap if the intent was to start a family. Some men take longer to establish themselves. Once a woman is 40+ and children are not a major factor then all is fair. What's the real intent? Excitement, ego validation, companionship for him, and financial security, status and a better life for her. We know physical attraction is highest in women the closer the age. Let's be real, we only extremely rarely see an 18 year old guy with a 65 year old woman. That tells us too that there is a gender difference in preferences. What it comes down to is the person's choice, once you are 18+ you have free agency over your body and how you conduct yourself. What is my personal opinion is that modern women are trading their prime years for cheap returns and ending up childless and alone or as single mothers which are not as desirable to the men she would want. A man wants a "blank slate" for a wife so she learns him and responds to his needs and their family needs. Men and women both are less open as we age, hard life lessons make us tougher, and men like softer women, and that can mean a lot of different things to different people. Women are attracted to status, wealth and competence. Western men typically have white skin = status, wealth=pension. competence=comes with age(not always but usually, had to survive to 65 somehow). These same men are less appreciated in their home countries because what they offer is deemed not as significant and now they've found a place where they're rock stars. I've been to The Philippines and I have seen countless vloggers and more talking about it. Let's not act like these aren't facts. Let me shift course now and be a little pro age gap again. The type of life we lead can determine our resilience and maturity as we come into our adult lives. That said, western women have the privilege and luxury of a soft life where their feelings are validated. It's also an egocentric society propped up on massive amounts of attention. In contrast Filipinas generally grow up poorer and appreciate the small things in life. Culturally men are not as openly complimentary to women or soft and sympathetic to emotions unless he's courting her. I think that younger Filipinas are typically more emotionally mature at younger ages, however, I also see them as more vulnerable to predatory males. The mass amount of attention western women received caused them to not appreciate what western men offered and how to handle that attention. Filipinas are not used to the "game" so much and I can see them falling fast and hard. Every person is different and it's all generalized.
