In terms of AR15 or bolt action. Yes. 6arc is very versatile going from those 2 plat forms. Bolt actions with 24 inch barrel you can get good velocity 2700+ fps with 105g bullets and fast follow up shots from an AR. I hit 1090 yards with an 18 inch AR going 2380 fps and from a long bolt gun it’s even better. Prs is taking notice in the bolt gun world and longer barrel life will be a huge pro while only burning 27g of powder. 6GT burns 32-34g varget 6 arc should prove to be effective and efficient when longer barrels are used especially I predict 6arc will be the “65 creed” of the 6mm world someday down the road bc it’s not a barrel burner

When are you going to sell just the 6mm ARC barrel. I already have 4 Bear Creek Arsenal 6.5 Grendel uppers. I would like to change one over to the 6mm ARC. I would love to get one in the Bear Claw fluted barrel to match the rest of my collection.

I just bought my 6 mm Arc from Bear Creek arsenal. It's a great caliper, sub moa, absolutely love it. I have a Bear Creek arsenal 6.5 mm grindle great caliper also sub moa.

Cmmg uses a power bolt on their 6.5grendel. Initially called the anvil. I think u can get them in 6arc.

I don't understand what is the purpose of this new rifle caliber/cartridge?? What does it do?? It doesn't make any sense. It is only for recreational/hunting purposes only or just something new stuffs that I will hate it?? Because I'm really doing good with .308 Winchester rounds it serves a lot of purpose for me. Self/Home Defense/Tactical and also for Hunting as well .308 is my all around jack of all trade rifle caliber otherwise my .308 rifle can also fire 7.62mm NATO rounds. 308 is my primary all around caliber Then my secondary is the 6.5 Grendel, I replaced and ditched all of my 5.56 AR rifles and I invested in 6.5 Grendel both of my rifles serves as my Self/Home and SHTF weapons and for hunting as well.

People that say this somehow think they will be going through thousands of rounds during a shtf situation. Even if you carry 8 mags (26rds) you are only carrying 206rds. So 1000rds is about 5 load outs. That's assuming you ever shot more than 500 rounds a year on one platform without resupply.

The 5.56 round will reach out to 700 yards but with very little energy. The 6mm ARC will reach out to 700 yards with over twice the energy as the 5.56 and shoot flatter doing it. Significant improvement all around over the 5.56.

Bruh, I just stretched my 6ARC rifle to 1044 yards out in Piru, CA 4/28/2024. I dialed 9.9mils to get out that far, with a 20MOA mount. Try that with a 5.56. You'll be dialing elevation like crazy, provided you don't run out of rotation. lol. It's innovation and this caliber is the hype. It bridges the gap between 5.56 and .308. It's optimized for a gas gun as well. Now put it in a bolt gun and you'll get higher velocities.

FYI Bear Creek sold me an upper that wasn't in stock, gave me the runaround for 30 days then refunded my $ to store credit which i didn't ask for and didn't want. Took a credit dispute to get my actual money back. I heard they make ok stuff for the ultra budget price point but beware the customer service is awful.
