Thank you for a nice video and a good review. Very positive with a lot of details. I think and according to my experience the best way to deal with a wide bow (handle) is a good khatra. It's easier to get khatra with slow, also heavy, arrows. For example up to 15 gpp. Added me helped the Korean gripp (not a handle) to do a better khatra for example with the H1 in 80 lbs from Alibows. I have never shoot a reflex ratan bow. But I think it could bit a pretty nice experience. Otherwise is a very nice bow from Luk. He did a good job as always.

The thick arrow pass is over come by khatra...def takes a bit to get it down with a new different bow. Looks like you got it. Very nice looking bow! Nice shooting as usual👍🏹💪

2:43 Charlie; may it be because of your drawing technique? this bows are designed to draw with thumb using a tool named "zikir" or sth like that. Becase the guys were using these on horseback and shooting targets that way.

I bought a rattan Longbow because of its indistrucatable reputation for my nephew. Well as a beginner he can lose his arrows slowly. I was disappointed how the bow aquired a bend having been strung only twice to test arrows for a few minutes to try arrows for suitability with the light bow (15LB).

Sorry, this is partly wrong. This is not true. Rattan performs way differently and the drawing curve goes higher at the end than other bows with the same poundage

@@CharliesRunningArchery maybe even a crimean tatar bow, but their bows dont have long siyahs either. long forward point siyah is generally not a ottoman thing that much i do know

Rattan is a grass, not real a wood, and better for garden furniture than for bows. All rattan bows I shot so far had the same problem: much too slow and not throwing far. I would stay away from rattan bows.

bamboo IS a grass too... and IS the best material used in traditional wood bow's limbs
