Brian, that was FANTASTIC. Great to see the Bandit back making speed runs again. Incredible speed. Nobody explains things like you do. That Bandit was screaming. Way to go!

Thanks! Can't wait to see what yours does. I would guess at least mid to high 60s on 2s and low to mid 80s on 3s should be obtainable on lower performance LIPOs with a motor similar to this one! Glad to see you are well enough to check out the video!

@BriansRCStuff Those were nice runs! I've been trying to find your email address bc I have something to ask. I tried giving you my email address but I don't know if you got it or not. Thanks man

@ thank you! I do not recall seeing it. Mine is in the about section of my channel.

SMC are my favorite batteries. I haven't used their smaller packs, but SMC are the only batteries which don't sag down to premature LVC running in my 15 pound Kagama. I hate paying for premium batteries, but in high amo draw and \ or high weight situations, they really make a world of difference. Good luck for your next runs.

Thank you! Mine too! I have some that are really close but none that are as good as my higher end SMC LIPOs. And honestly, I think they are priced really fairly for what they are (but I get it, they are more than a budget LIPO for sure). I am lucky and have never had to pay for one.... but sooner or later my 3s one will start to degrade as it is my go to LIPO! That 15 pound Kagama sounds like a beast!!!

You’re the king of bandit speed runs.. hope all is well buddy

Thanks man, I love how after a lot of effort it is dialed in nicely! My favorite car I own by far for speedruns!

Good results Brian! , nice to see this make an appearance again, and interesting comparison. More left on a full charge!

Thanks! yeah, I found it really interesting. I may go up from a 44t to a 46 or 48t spur next time to make the gearing a little shorter. I think it may have been a little too tall for the best performance but it is hard to say....

Wow now that's moving ! I can only imagine what it would do hitting a ramp at that speed ! 😮

It might go until low earth orbit!

Thanks! Yeah, get it out there. So much potential for sure!

91 mph is fast! I have no doubt you'll get 95 mph with ease. Great video.
@BriansRCStuffАй бұрын
Thanks man. I will give it a shot. In my mind 11.7v was lower than it is lol.... but I think 93-94 should be doable and maybe 95+ if there is a better gear ratio (I might go a little shorter next time out as it seemed to take a long time to get up to speed/might be a little too tall).

Nice to see the bandit back out! How many feet do u typically use between start and stop? Just curious
@BriansRCStuffАй бұрын
Thanks! I try to do 0.5 miles total or more or 0.25 for a pass.... or about 660 feet each direction from where I am standing. Sometimes I push it to as much as 0.6 total but it makes me nervous. The distance is shown at the bottom of the GPS for each run. 😎

Great speed run I'm building a similar bandit as well. What front tires are you using ? Thanks!
@BriansRCStuffАй бұрын
They are "Xceed RC ITA Wide Front Tire-Rim (Carbon Black) (2) (35 Shore)" foam tires that I cut down to size using a drill and a blade (they were too wide)

we need to bring nitro back. electric just has no soul.
@BriansRCStuffАй бұрын
@@Hogan-m3w nitro is still here my friend. I never got into nitro because back when I was a teen in the late 80s and early 90s they were really expensive and could not afford them. Now electric offers better performance than nitro and much less headaches. I agree that electric has less “soul” but there’s definitely a place for them! 1 mile electric car comes past me at 100+ miles an hour. It definitely gets my heart beating!
