Studio One Pro has the ability to import & export projects in the .DAWPROJECT file format. Studio One really don't be getting the flowers it deserves. My DAW journey is, FL, Logic, Studio One. The main reason I landed on S1 was purely down to hardware/OS, If I was creating at home it was full desktop PC setup, if I was out on location, then macbook pro. Having the ability to start a project on either platform, save to external drive, then work on which ever system I wanted to was key. I think the one thing we can all agree on with the DAW WAR is the entry point for all is way easier today, giving you the ability to become a power user running the free (lite) versions. Minimising any discomfort heading into studios using a different DAW than you're used to.

Hi Devon. I am the guy who complimented on your teaching skills after your easy instruction on using the bus. After years of using Studio One and having enough of the unstable nature of that DAW I tried 5 others and found my new miracle of a DAW. BITWIG. It is amazing. Being a classical trained pianist and commercial music producer I can not say enough good about BITWIG. I compose mostly Royalty Free Music and it comes easier than ever now. The closest in my opinion and a far second was Ableton.Though I am not one to use loops as I create my own, one sure can get a number of ideas just by creating a custom synth in the Grid. The only thing missing is a Step Sequencer in the Editor which is helpful to those with the tools to create sequences and melodies from the top of their head. Anyway I had to let you know although you probably did find Bitwig a while back and I have only been subscribed to your channel for a short time. Have a good afternoon. Farmer George, New Jersey

1. Just got the Launchkey 49 (for Reason & Studio One integration) and I’m IMPRESSED 2. Studio One 6 (Just added the Atmos Template btw😏) is probably THE ELITE all around DAW. I can’t bring myself to produce in ST1 but mixing and mastering and the whole UI period is the best I’ve used and I started with Cool Edit Pro 2.0 and used pretty much everything 😬🥴🙆🏿♂️😂🤣😂

Air out the Owens Corning Pink fiberglass R30 for about 2 weeks before installing it. If you want the eco friendly stuff, Knauf R30. Both products work really well for bass absorbtion. The deeper the panel the better the results when it comes to Low end. Depending on the R value of the Rockwool it can start to reflect low end. Just a tip. Love you guys' podcast. CUBASE GANG!

It amazes me that even you all know sooooo much that being so locked into your DAWS has had you locked out of all the great possibilities. For instance in logic I can open Akai MPC DAW , I can open Reason and I can Open Machine and drag and drop the midi . I’m going to make a video today and drag & drop a lot of things I hope you would talk about . I’m mainly Logic but I own every single DAW represented here on the panel . I love this podcast it sparks so much community conversations in which would turn everyone on to new tools

I own both and IMO Ableton seems easier to learn especially if doing things like audio recording and mixing. FL has a deeper piano roll and probably a more robust step sequencer. FL also has some very unique effects like Gross beat and a nice audio editor. As far as pattern editing I like Ableton better with its session view. I like Ableton's Simpler better.
