Your own artists copy our sound all the time and no, your sound is only in the west because you have millions of economic refugees there who have built communities and because those countries are liberal, they are been kind. SA sound travel around the world without South Africans running in millions all over the world. Quality over quantity

Your know the difference with accent and culture. Africa is not a country but continent with different countries with their own languages and cultures. Neither of you would stand out in South Africa as far as how you look. Just regular guy & regular girl, neither of you looks atypical to SA. Only your accents would give you away. Chick-fil-A is not big in SA. You’ll struggle to find an outlet. KFC & McDonald’s are everywhere but why come to SA just to eat what you normally eat over there? Lots of other foods to explore & enjoy. We got you with Tequila even though SA is gin nation. Again, lots of new cocktails & drinks to explore.

Why is it so hard to comprehend that we have many distinct music genres?
