Hi everyone 👋 Thanks for watching! This was one of our favourite travel experiences so far, Angkor Wat was incredible to see! We'd just like to correct something we stated in the video - we said that the price of a 1-day pass changed from $20 to $37 after the COVID-19 pandemic (this is what we'd been told by a local). We checked online and this increase actually happened in February 2017. In our opinion, its a must do and absolutely worth the money! 😁

Come visit me. U r in my backyard. It's a bit too expensive for 37$, but if it was for 7 days pass. Maybe it's worth it.

Go to see Angkor Wat - City Temples before you die my friends. I went to see this historical place way back in early 60s with my family as a boy before the civil war erupted. Most of them did not survive the genocide there. Life is short to do the things we don't love doing but life is very precious. Only memory lives on. Be mindful and be happy from a genocide survivor under the brutal Khmer Rouge killing machine. Enjoy your travels!

Thank you to visit Cambodia^^ Cambodia's health system is almost entirely dependent on donations, but unfortunately, only 10 percent of the funds actually reach the people who need them. This means that the majority of the donations are either misused or lost to corruption. As a result, many Cambodians do not have access to adequate healthcare, and the situation is particularly dire for those living in rural areas. The government and international organizations must work together to ensure that the donated funds are used effectively to improve the health and well-being of the Cambodian people. #Stop corruption in Cambodia

From our perspective it’s definitely worth the money! However before the pandemic it was $20, so it’s quite a big increase. We had locals tell us that they weren’t happy about the price increase as they’re worried it will put tourists off. Hopefully it doesn’t, it’s an incredible place!!

@@jamieandhannah_ it's always been over $30 I believe pre covid it was $35... it's never been $20 and $2 go towards a children's Hospital

@@JJ-vy2rh the price was definitely increased from $20 to $37, the manager at our hostel in Siem Reap told us this happened after the pandemic but actually it looks like it happened in February 2017! Clearly it has continued to attract big numbers of visitors since the price increase which is great 😊 our tour guide did also tell us about the donations to the childrens hospital which is wonderful!
