we can make energy ATP from glucose or fatty acids but the fat to protein ratio has to be right. carbs have to be low in the diet too. 300g beef or lamb meat, 70g liver, 130g beef or lamb or pork fat each day is healthy and gets energy from fat/ketones. we cant handle large amounts of carbohydrates since the fall. it damages us. but may be an ongoing temptation for some. dissolved honey in hot water provides a little carb hit and is not harmful.

The Judaizers were boasting in their works and they were gluttons for fleshly works which they thought could save them. Paul had just explained that if works could save, he had far more works and could boast as they did. But he said that he counted all things as loss for the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus. There is also a bible verse that says "the Kingdom of heaven is not eating or drinking". There are weightier matters in Christianity than eating food.

it is not a sin if you make yourself throw up after. less calories kept, no love handles gained. and since you aren't hurting your body by becoming obese or diabetic, you are not sinning, i've been binge eating since high school and have never been close to overweight - on the contrary, i have been told i'm losing too much weight at times, lol. so there definitely is a way to live with it and not get fat. if you don't have a couple grands lying around for a therapist or dietitian, you just do what you gotta do

No I’m sorry but that sounds like you need serious help because that doesn’t sound healthy, and it still is a sin either way because he’s not talking about how much you gain but how you turn to food for comfort or just relying on it instead of him, I’m not trying to sound mean or anything hope this helps😅

So I want to explain one thing and that’s, the problem with gluttony is not just that you are gaining weight but it’s that you are hurting and destroying your body, which is God’s temple. Just like overeating can harm and destroy that temple, so does bulemia. As you are forcibly throwing up and causing damage to your stomach and intestines. When going through things as hard as these, it’s so important to not do it alone🫶🏽💗If you can, reach out to somebody for help, because it can this practice can turn into long term issues and I’d hate for you to have to go through anything bad.
