In WoW’s most recent expansion we have been given sight to a whole new heap of zones to explore. Along with zones is obvious new lore and world building, mysteries to solve that Blizzard intends to sprinkle on top of us throughout the World Soul Saga. One of these zones, potentially the most popular of them all, is Hallowfall. A zone buried beneath the lands of Khaz Algar. It is an immense plateau as waterfalls border the Undersea, all contained within a giant cave. It is so large in fact that it is able to house the usage of airships and establishes docks and farms alike. Aside from the already jarring visuals of this land the most signifying icon of Hallowfall is the insanely large crystal lodged into its ceiling. This crystal serves as the beacon of the people of Hallowfall and is essentially their sun and moon. Even the plantlife reacts to the crystal as if it were the sun, and you will see them facing rather toward the crystal than in any other direction in order to absorb its light. Serving as its denizens, the Hallowfall Arathi traveled to this land more than a decade before the events of War Within. Their fleet was overtaken by a blinding light that had transported them to Hallowfall, leaving them stranded in the cavern. It is here the crystal was first discovered by a sentient race outside of the Nerubians and was aptly named ‘Beledar.’
