Changli's sign works really, really well for havoc Rover. Is, in fact and for now, their best in slot weapon as their both normal resonance skill and forte resonance skill deals pretty good damage, until Kuro release a liberation focused sword with a general condition to activate its buff. Aside of that... I dont' see any other character using Camellya's weapon. Danjin does deals damage with her basic attacks (not her primary source of damage tho), but her resonance skill have higher ratio and she works really well with the rest of 5* swords. What's more, she's the only 4* sword character that can fully activate EoS passive.

correction from a day 1 dps yangyang user: she actually scales off of basic damage too, but only for her feather release attack (which outside of liberation is her damage source). so camellyas weapon will be viable on her too. i clear floors 2 and 3 of tower with her paired with sanhua and the damage diff is defintely there and i will be using camellyas sig over genesis for her.

Let's be real, the 4* weapons in WuWa are so painfully mid and limited that basically every 5* weapon is a must pull if you actually intended on getting the proper bang for your buck out of your new character. (Edit: mid for dps characters*, some of the supportive 4* weapons are pretty solid) At least the weapon banner is freakin amazing with no 50/50 BS to worry about. Just had Staff of Homeless rob me blind in a certain other game, I even lost the 50/50 to a useless Amos Bow instead of Nahida's weapon, increasing the salt level even further.

She’s not my favorite character to begin with, so I can’t rationalize going for a weapon that has very little utility outside of Camellya herself. I think she has potential to be an interesting character (the overclocking bit in her trailer has me intrigued) but I generally only pull weapons for characters if I really like them. That said, if her character story hits hard I could be swayed. I've already missed a couple of characters I'd want to get on rerun though, so the competition for Astrites is only getting tighter. I'm a spender but not a full-on whale.

Because you think about it the wrong way. A weapon and a character are tied together, one is incomplete without the other. By skipping the weapon you are basically using a gimped character. And going forward the weapons will be much more specialized and provide a bigger and bigger power boost to the respective character. If you're just pulling the character themselves you are simply coping.

The biggest point is that Yinlin will have a rerun soon and as far as I know - her weapon is one of the best DPS weapons possible that you can use on almost every character (with that weapon type. I initially considered rolling for Red Spring if I get Camellya, but I already have the Emerald of Genesis and I still want to roll on Yinlin as well..

The trick to building pity is only doing it as long as you're happy if you accidentally "win". In my case, getting Camellya's sword under 30 pulls (since my pity got reset on XY's gauntlet)? Worth it for me to skip string master until Yinlin's next rerun.

EoG and BB compared to her own sig are a massive DPS loss though. You're not gaining any benefits from them that you wouldn't from RS. She doesn't need the ER from EoG due to having an innate 150% boost, and she doesn't deal Skill DMG at all so BB is also useless on her. It would be better to get that CR main stat and 70% Basic ATK Bonus (140% at R5!) over BB's crit dmg main stat, and it's just a literal upgrade from EoG.

Also, in WuWa R5 is better than going for Sequences due to the weapon being guaranteed. The amount of pulls to get R5 will only guarantee you S2, which for Camellya R5 would be much better.

The new 4 star weapon is a viable option for Camellya. 462 + 18.2% attack. Whenever the wearer deals dmg, it gains a stack per second of 2-4% attack for 3s up to 10 stacks. At max stacks, wearer gets 6-12% crit rate. I'm gonna guess the 3s refreshes after gaining a stack otherwise the CR buff just isn't possible.

I dont mind signature weapons playing closer to the target characters' kits than any others, BUT this would be peak perfection if EVERY character had their own Signature weapon. Some games, including from Kuro (PGR), already do just this. Even the B rank charscters had a weapon that was more made for them, even tho for the B and A rank characters, the weapon stats are more simplistic. But they still have them. I would love to see signature weapons for every standard banner 5* and 4*. In a few instances, a standard 5* weapon is already 'signature' enough, such as Calcharo and the standard 5* Broadblade. I think that's as close as it gets. And i already put my thoughts on this in a survey. I hope it gets noticed 😅. They should draw more from their prior game rather than change the entire dynamic in this regard.

You will know why it has concerto consumed mechanic once you see her kit. She actually has a little bit different concerto mechanic than other character, well basically she can consume her concerto in two ways, one is normal way where she's leaving a battle and another way is she can consume her concerto without needing to change character. But yeah the only character that can use this weapon is just camellya because of that.

I guess I'm skipping Camellya's weapon because I gotta pull Yinlin and her weapon too. I plan to use Changli's signature on Camellya because I already balanced my crit ratio around having 4 cost crit rate echo, and that echos substats are too good for camellya. SO even though She doesn't benefit form Changli's weapon that much, I'm still using.

Personally I like pulling the characters signature weapon bc I play for looks and overall enjoyment of the game, therefor I will pull red spring at some point, because I don’t have the pulls to get camellya and her weapon, I currently have changli, jiyan, and xiangli Yao with their signature and zhezhi without hers, I don’t get why people pull for big pp dmg, but that’s just me

for me it's a pull, i only have EoG right now. since I'm pairing camellya with sanhua, i needed another 5 star sword.

I don't have any other 5star sword other than emerald of genesis, I need it for sanhua, So i guess i need to pull for her weap
