They're "technically" already doing that . Carlotta's weapon does turn into a shotgun/snipe . Chixia's skill is machinegun , aalto can be considered shotgun too with the scatter shots .

Carlotta weapon can be a pistol, shotgun, even sniper depending which skill you use

Technically Wuwa already has the flexibility for that: 1. Carlotta despite using a pistol is more likely using a pistol with a glass-constructed barrel/modified shape thru her resonance ability which explains why it looks like she is wielding long barrel rifles instead of a pistol. 2. Alot of the the Huanglong characters already buck some beats like Lumi actually using her mascout hamster thing as the one actually wielding the broadblade while Lumi swings the gerbil thing instead. With Jiyan technically using both the claymore and his windspear simutaneously in his combos. Then you have the Rectifiers being the typical broad users between Encore manipulating woolie dolls for her attacks, Yinlin producing string blades typically thru her puppet or from her hands directly, Zhezhi with her paintbrush she produces. Morfeti who is also technically using his `lighter` as a conduit for his flames and even Camelya technically producing vines to use as a weapon much more instead of her actual sword. Honestly they did a rather good job on picking weapon bases for flexibility, since even Havoc Rover is tripping by producing a Scythe thru his havoc resonance abilities to pull similar wombos to crownless & dreamless too. Honestly it makes me excited what Rover`s next element will be since unlike a certain other game, Rover`s elements are not specifically locked to niches, can be in any position (Spectro being Sub dps and support technically while Havoc is main DPS) and the attack pattern seems to be usually a mix between using the sword or what will likely be weapons invoked via the resonator ability atleast how they been doing it so far.

Thank you for giving actual % numbers with the later sequences instead of just reading out what the sequence does. A lot of creators don't talk about the sequences much unfortunately. I love knowing just how much later sequences give to a character, but sometimes the text can be a bit confusing for me. Appreciate the video, Vars!

Hope they address the aiming mode over heavy attack that most gun users have. They could just make it so they have a dedicated button on that while having an HA on basic attack hold like most others do. It would be quite promising if they can improve existing characters' kits outside of emergency reworks.

I wasn't quite sure whether I wanted to pull for her since the 1st dps in a new region usually doesn't have the best longevity, but the skill with her jumping over the enemies and double tapping them from above is just so cool. Also for some reason I'm more carefree with my pulls in Wuwa than in HSR or ZZZ or Genshin so im going for her lol.

I would prioritize getting Zhezhi over Carlotta's own weapon, not just her Sequences. Unless you don't have Static Mist and won't get it anytime soon, that is. The increase to Carlotta's own personal damage is just almost as good as the one given by prioritizing The Last Dance as a replacement to Static Mist when going from Taoqi to Zhezhi, but the team DPS will increase significantly and Zhezhi is invaluable for other characters as well.

u should mention in her rotations, in the begining heavy attacking along with the skill is also not a bad idea, its are very fast and will grant u extra 3 crystals, combined with skill 1 to have the total 6 crystals immediately have half of the forte filled after skill 2. Also dps sanhua can also make use of the new frosty resolve set, her ice burst count as resonance skill damage, and she spams skill and ult alot for the ice glaciers

Once Camellya and Jinshi got their premium support, I think they will be neck and neck in term of team DPS Right now only Carlotta and Xiangli Yao have their premium team ready and XY being free character is weaker than Carlotta by a noticeable margin but Jinshi and Camellya despite the lack of premium support has been OP at their release and will only get stronger later. There is also a possibility that we will get element/chara specific healer that further boost their damage instead of generalist support like Shorekeeper which is very much a possibility later down the line (probably in 3.0/late 2.0)

​@@connor.chan.jazzmanyeah, on the main quest chapter 2 we can see roccia's kit, roccia not only generates as fast as sanhua, she also gives very good dmg for a sub dps, good buffs, good aoe and insane gathering skill, she can gather opponents with her resonance skill and once you outro skill, the following resonator can summon another tornado that gathers opponents, talk about a premium support, Camellya is getting an insane support.

My R6 Carlotta with R6 Zhezhi and R2 Shorekeeper does consistently does 400k per shot and does 500k a good chunk of the time. Very good. Just wish bosses had a bit more health heheh.

If it makes you any happy, so far, powercreep hasn't been too harsh with the characters. Maybe only towards 4* dps and Havoc Rover, but all limited 5* are viable in some way. So even if she ends up being better than jinshi, that may not matter. Plus, Kuro games is known for listening. If we ask them for better ways for character longevity, we may have it.

I'm really trying not to diss Genshin here; this is a rational comparison (since it is only the closest comparison I have for now). So, I have to say that now looking at the NEW units of WuWa I noticed that genshin has really uncreative mechanics with their buttons like SKILLS and BURST. You just literally press it and just wait, no follow-up, no nothing. You can say that, for example, Sucrose and Xiao have their charges in the skills, but still, it is just the same plain skill, unlike here, where you don't even know if the skill will have a follow-up-follow-up skill once you have already pressed it. Genshin doesn't even have DOUBLE ULTS like here (please state I'm wrong, maybe I don't recall a character that has 2 stages of ULT) but Anyways Overall, Genshin has Flashy Effects with their Elements and Reactions but NO CREATIVITY at all with their Buttons just a cooldown and that's it, you WAIT. I hope GI will improve on this though.

Yeah, there's Childe if you're asking for 2 ult alts. Genshin characters are creative enough, but WuWa is just far more creative. I don't get where you got that "Genshin characters designs are no creative." But if you compare it to all games that have a huge focus on characters, Genshin is like the top 10-5% in creativity whereas WuWa is like the top 5-1% in creativity. WuWa just raised your standards so high and that's the problem. And that's why a quote that says "Comparison is a kill of JOY" is accurate for most of the time.

Why couldn't Genshin add 2 part animations on a character's ult or skill like Jinshi, it would've broken the internet and the community especially if the Pyro archon had it. Even a half second animation would be enough since the endgame content like the abyss isn't even that hard and the time is enough to put on just a few second animation that deals ton of dmg afterwards, but nope the community is still stuck with 1 ult animation. I love Genshin and Wuwa but I just couldn't help thinking why Genshin couldn't make it. In terms of gameplay, Genshin is just lackluster but I kinda get it since Genshin is much more casual than Wuwa, Genshin doesn't even have dodge and parry mechanics which proves the point. The new units in Genshin are indeed creative but it still has that tap skill, tap burst gameplay which the commentator is pointing out. It would've been cool to add an animation on a character's skill once you trigger certain conditions like reaction or after bursting you trigger a new animation after certain conditions like Carlotta. Hopefully in the future Genshin can finally add those.

I hope you do like in Carlotto or Most PGR New Characters They Use their Ults then they have a new form of attack and then another Bigger Ult comes but Child isn't the Case like once you pick the Ult that's it. I hope it's not confusing 😭🫶🏽 The Closest character in Genshin that has unique button mechanics is Nilou but still you just press it AS FAST AS YOU CAN to switch out of her AS FAST AS YOU CAN

@@dankwolf442 I gave up on her weapon, I'm afraid I will lose 50/50 on Roccia. Honestly even with Static mist she still slap, getting her 20% stronger isn't worth risking failing to get more chara. I will consider weapon if I got early pity, took me 62 pull for Carlotta. I clear TOA middle tower in roughly 1:30 using day one build of low talent level, static mist, and old glacio set (S0R0 Zhezhi, S0R1 Shorekeeper). Unless we get a sudden spike in difficulty, she is more than strong enough for me. Higher talent level+New set is already 30% dmg increase so the weapon is but an icing on the cake

Your chart shows Carlotta doing 200k more dmg on taoqi team Vs sanhua team. Taoqi doing 120k less dmg than sanhua. The difference is in verina / SK column... DPR is higher on taoqi team but somehow sanhua is the better team? Wait what????

bruh I was saving for brant but needed to do some 10 pulls for the pulls in the shop that reset with the new patch guess what happened I was at 10 pity and my first pull out of my 10 pull was calcharo. I was like oh that's early... guaranteed brant yippeeeee AND THEN I GOT CARLOTTA AT 1 PITY... so I got her s1, and now I'm grinding for her s2 and weapon (CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF ITS MORE WORTH TO GET THE WEAPON OR S2? I WANT TO SAVE SOME PULLS FOR BRANT ACTUALLY...) and I'm completely broke. sorry brant... at least I can safely skip rococo cuz my camellya is good enough with sanhua and I dont need a kid character on my account

I got super lucky and won 50/50 AND got her in 20 pulls. It was meant to be. Needless to say i spent everything else i had to get her weapon. Really debating on saving up the coral things to get two of her sequences on her rerun.

I play Genshin, Star Rail and recently picked up ZZZ again. If I wasn't already 3 big gachas I would give WW a try again. But can't possibly risk spending money on another gacha no matter how good it looks. Wanna play it but yeah, not only will it take time to catch up again but also probably will make me spend

In some companies (such as Guardian tales, Another Eden and moar, no im not just simply talking about Genshite), just because a character is `new` usually doesnt mean new best. Since you had cases of particular characters released that were so hyper niche to specific team comps or needed other new characters introduced afterwards to `alleviate` certain glaring problems with the units: For example: -Genshin impact released Dehyaha who despite being a new `standard banner character`, ended up with too many problems to be actually considered good at all. -Honkai impact 3rd when it released herscherr of origin: Elysia, was seen as super OP because she was a `herscherr class` battlesuit, but she had a GLARING FLAW of requiring both her team mates to consume somewhere around 300 freaking total SP to get her massive damage bonus when she goes in burst mode...which conviently they decided to make the `free first copy character` the version immediately after that, Susanah, who demanded needing double S to function properly also...was conviently the character to bridge the SP cost gap that previous supports for the Ice type DPS could not reach, also at the same time, flipping off Haxxor Bunni Bronya in the process too. -Guardian tales i havent touched in a long time but every time i did glance at it they would always release a bunch of characters with VERY SIMILAR damage bonus and support mechanics as previous characters, half defeating the purpose of wanting to pull on these new characters except in rare cases they pull another `Future Princess` moment where they made a character insanely busted by having a Tank that could deal massive amounts of damage and do massive amount of healing on top of that with some extra flexibile equiping options for adjusting in team comps. Though since this is Kurogames, they actually know how to make a character who despite having similar damage numbers to a previous character, end up still being appealing to use because of taking an entirely different direction on how to use the character. Which is why Carlotta is so fking interesting because she takes the gunslinger motif and goes for the much more mobile `constantly change your position for better shots` type of archetype of a gun-user gag or what might as well be the `Action gunslinger` trope design.

Depends on your team, S0 Jinhsi for more aoe, S0 Carlotta for single target dmg.
