We need someone similar to George Foreman to defeat Usyk. Someone who would relentlessly pressure him, cut the ring and be a bully. Currently, I don't see anyone like that in the division, and Usyk would outclass Wilder all day. Also, Usyk is tougher than people give him credit for; I believe he can withstand a couple of power punches from Wilder even if Wilder was able to land clean (which i doubt). I think Fury is still the guy with the highest chance but he can't be on back foot doing technical boxing again.

Deontay Wilder, if he is able to land the right hand OR the left hook, it's curtains. He was/is an instinctual fighter, so he will often do things that break the rules for what traditional boxing should be, but it works FOR HIM. But if someone technically gifted can negotiate distance, he can be defeated. But there is a problem. You, to quote Wilder, "gotta be perfect for 36 min. I just gotta be perfect for 1 sec!" With Wilder, to beat him, you've got to be too far for Wilder to lunge when he punches but too close for him to extend and get the full impact on the punches. Fury figured this out in the 12rd of the first fight with Wilder and got up. And this gave us one of the best comebacks of all time. In their second fight, Wilder looked out of sorts from the 1st rd and confused. The reason was Wilder couldn't understand why he couldn't punch, Fury was TOO CLOSE to extend but TOO FAR to lunge. It was such an amazing and subtle thing that Fury showed. Joseph Parker, in beating Wilder, boxed A PERFECT fight, never switched off for a moment, that and his corner hollering between rounds, "Stay SWITCHED ON! Be smart!!!" in addition to other instructions. Now the question remains: Can Zhang stay disciplined enough to follow a similar game plan from start to finish and also not get mentally tired avoiding the right hand/left hook combo or either of them at any time flush or even THROUGH the guard. That's what intrigues me about this fight. Even with a faded Wilder that emerged from the trilogy with the Gypsy King.

You also have to remember that alot of bums wilder has beat, have taken plenty of clean right hands from him and not gone down straight away, duhaupas took loads and never went down, povetkin also ko duhaupas in the 1st round, wilder has good power but its definitely been over exaggerated through stats...

Wilder has so much potential he really needs to improve his balance, movement, ability to mix it up. Jab, throw combo's. Strength in his legs, how to react when getting hurt. He can achieve so much if he can improve these things

Maybe 10 years ago. Parker v Usyk Parker would have more chance than Wilder and by the way he wasn't timid fighting Parker he was beaten by a smart boxer.

If wilder loses to Zhang that Parker last beat then that’s it for Wilder I think he should retire

Wilder has a punchers chance I guess, but Usyk could fight Wilder 20 times and Wilder might win one.

3:55 this is the wilder that, idc what you say, every boxer was either afraid of or hesitant to fight BESIDES a person who didn't gaf abt his life anymore. Wilder is noticeably much slower now. And much less aggressive. He's not hungry, anymore. Back then, his power was so wicked because he'd fully commit and throw full force, full speed punches with a bit more accuracy at his opponents. He doesn't have that anymore and we've seen that in his last fight. As TG said, he was gun-shy. Now you watch his last fight and lemme know if that dude is handling Wilder a few years back when he was one tapping mfs

No. Next question. Bro needs to prove he can hang onto a top 10 ranking before the thought of him fighting for any title comes into play

We could have this exact same dumb conversation for a hypothetical against EVERY heavyweight in the history of the sport. "Yeah Ali and Iron Mike were both great, but if Wilder lands that big right hand..." It's silly

Best boxing channel period. Full stop. End of discussion. Hate is a powerful motivator. Without that anger and hate, Wilder is a shell of his former self - which honestly, might be a good thing (for his own mental well being).

The second Ortiz knockout is absolutely frightening. No wind up, just one short right through the target.
