Brett is so good at her advertisement transitions it literally almost pisses me off every time. Straight up shameless man 😂 I'm not hating, it's actually commendable, especially since she's even better at it than Ben Shapiro. But, man, does it frustrate me sometimes. I'm following every word she's saying very closely and then all of a sudden she catches me off guard and VERY smoothly sneaks in an advertisement and throws me off. Great job Brett.

I've taught my sons to always 'wrap it' regardless of whether their girlfriends are on birth control or not. They don't want an unplanned pregnancy and are responsible. My oldest son is engaged and he and his fiance still use protection even though she is on birth control. I don't understand how birth control is an issue today for anyone. All it takes is the smallest amount of discipline and self-control. They are all irresponsible people who don't want to be accountable for anything they do or fail to do. Pathetic.

I've struggled with my weight my whole life and have fluctuated from a comfortable weight in my late teens to obese today. My husband and I have had so much trouble getting pregnant (much less staying pregnant) and even the fertility clinic we finally turned to for help recommended weight loss as a first step. I started another weight loss journey, lost 20lbs and we actually got pregnant after our second medicated cycle. Am now 14 1/2 weeks along and hopeful for a successful pregnancy. But I have seen some studies that indicate infertility is more common among overweight and obese women, and I'm convinced there is truth to that given my experience. So these feminists will have to forgive my if I don't believe them that larger bodied people (😓) are out there getting pregnant left and right on a whim.

As a reflection of the ideal version of medical ethics, the revised Hippocratic oath included the text "I will prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure." And then, after their bodies fail they'd want the doctors they ignored to move heaven and earth to save them - and ideally at the expense of the taxpayer. If the government has to pick up the bill for all of your poor decisions, it's a matter of time before they start screaming at you to put down the chocolate bar. More fatphobia, I'm sure.

In case people didnt know, being over or even under weight isnt just about what you eat. Genetics, mental states, poor relationship with food/ food insecurities also have a hand in on it. Also it isnt about how much you are eating, its about balancing what you eat with what your body needs. Example I have an iron deficiency, so that means lots of red meat and dark chocolate, as those have the most iron that my body takes.

My workout isn’t too fast, I feel dizzy otherwise, but I am still not losing weight. All Fat people are not unhealthy lifestyle followers. I recently found out, it’s my medication that I am taking for a decade, that’s actually spooling my hormonal balance, I am looking forward to stop it.

Yep, Natural Family Planning. It works with the body without introducing harmful chemicals, and it does not actively seek to offend God’s design and the purpose of the conjugal act. In this age people rarely ask “what is this and what is it for?” Sin is a good that has been thwarted in either essence or end. Artificial contraceptives are not open to true unity or children, it is a big “NO” to God.

Weight and diet impact A LOT of health aspects, not just breathing and mobility. A lot of hormones are disbalanced by diet, and hormones pretty much control everything that functions inside. So yes, the doctor will advise you to loose weight and that's not because it's fatfobic, but because it's a health care provider. On the other hand if you feel like a specific doctor is not listening to all your symptoms ask for other (medical) opinions until you find one to figure out what is going on. My overweight mom has had a nose problem for years and most doctors would not give enough attention to it just because she recently found out she has is a very rare condition and they were not expecting to randomly see it in a patient. But she did her best to loose weight (which did help) AND found another doctor who actually listened what she was saying and figured shit out.

Unfortunately, that is definitely a thing. Happened to my MIL - she was a very petite woman, even after 3 babies, but when her thyroid started to fail, she rapidly gained weight no matter what she ate or how much she exercised. Her doctor called her a liar and told her to eat less - up until she ended up hospitalized for her thyroid failure and suffered severe permanent side effects she battles to this day. Being overweight causes sooooo many side effects that weaken your overall health and lower your quality if life, so I entirely understand why health professionals tend to dismiss problems with "you need to lose weight" (because often, that is the case). Unfortunately, that very fact means other health issues get dismissed and problems end up perpetuating. Bottom line: docs and nurses need to work with individuals on an individual basis as best they can. I know that's easier said than done (family of docs and nurses, I definitely hear some wild stories!) but that is the ultimate goal for medical care.

I work with horses and there is a thing called Cushing's disease. We see it a lot with ponies and donkeys but sometimes with bigger horses. It affects their hormones and can cause them to gain weight and not be able to shed it. We can control it a little bit to feed an exercise but left untouched, it can go on to negatively affect their feet and even their tendons. I do believe people can have Cushing's or some variant of it and to those I hold nothing against them. It is a genetic disease that is really out of their control. But to the people that are otherwise healthy but complain about the weight but do nothing about it... It's not my fault.

Did you include how women are particularly vulnerable to stds, and even condoms don’t protect against them and they can be silent in the men so women wouldn’t even know they have them and they get scarring on their tubes that exponentially increases their chances of miscarriage and infertility in the future? Because women in their 30s are often facing infertility not just because of their biological age, but because they have slept around and contracted stds they don’t even know about and have damaged their reproductive systems. It’s so crazy how ignorant girls and women are about their own biology. How the school system intentionally tells them, be a vvhore at 16, here are some condoms, and isn’t it nice how many customers we’re funneling to planned parenthood.

This is one example of why we, as human beings, all need to hear the hard things, even if they hurt or are uncomfortable, in order to grow, be aligned with reality, and form knowledgable opinions. This is ultimately my answer to pro-lifers. If you aren't ready to have a child be it financially or emotionally, then don't have sex! Sex isn't necessary to live, and there's always the risk no matter what to have a kid. So if you're having sex, it should be with someone with whom you're ready to accept the responsibility of having a child. But our society has degraded sex to such a casual, transactional act that it's just taken for granted, and all the seriousness has been removed. It's just some pleasurable, physical, feel-good act you can do with anyone regardless of your relationship to them, and it's totally acceptable. It's kinda sad

Why should you not be able to enjoy sex with your partner even when you're not ready to have a child? It's been like this for years, people in the 70s had more abortions than today. Don't get me wrong I find hook up culture and just sleeping around awful. But abstinence is not the answer. Educating people should be the number one goal and still having an option when something goes wrong. I wouldn't want to birth a child that I might hate just because the timing was off.

Yea, I can't tell you the number of times I've heard or read that overturning roe somehow effects trans and gay people more than typical young women. It's just another way to add even more of a veneer of oppression to their identities. It's obvious that Trans people and gay people are far less likely to get accidentally pregnant when Trans men are on a bunch of hormones suppressing their estrogen and making it more difficult for them to get pregnant and gay people don't even have the requisite equipment to get each other pregnant. But of course, of course, they can't let it be that normal women are actually more affected by anything than them since they're a bunch of narcissists.

The things that worked for me: 1) Cut back on sodas. If u can, stop drinking them. I had to do it in steps. 2) Reduce carbs. I love bread, rice & pasta. Again I did it in stages. 1 piece of toast not 2. Less pasta or rice on my plate. 3) Walk more. Park further away from shops (not at night). When I was signing on I walked there instead of taking the bus. 4) Sugar is in things u wouldn't believe. Try to cook ur food instead of ready meals or takeaway. I was a hopeless cook but I learned & had fun. 5) Ask family & friends for help/advice/support. I couldn't afford Weight Watchers but I know people it helped. 5) Eat real food. I lost weight eating eggs, beef, pork and lamb. I use while milk and butter. They also taste better. Not all cats are bad. Start slow with just 1 or 2 things. If you have a set back don't despair. This works for me so adapt for u if u want. Good luck. Let me know how you get on.

I completely stopped eating take out, cut out all junk food(I do have chips on the weekend 😂) , quit eating sugar, quit drinking alcohol now 14 months sober, quit smoking weed, started working out four days a week and eating healthy home cooked meals. It's just as hard to put on healthy weight as it is to lose it for some people. I'm 6'1 and weighed 130lbs. It's really hard to stay dissaplined. Working out sucks, it's painful and it's easy to just be lazy and blame your looks on your surroundings. Today I weight 170lbs, muscular and toned and proud to look in the mirror. Only YOU are responsible for your health, you have to take It in your own hands, the problem with society today is blaming your faults and looks on others and not caring about yourself like you should.

As much as I hate the fat phobia trend... there is some real truth to this issue. And condoms don't work for every guy. I've had condoms stay inside me because the ones they carry at the stores are too big for some men. Now as an obese woman who gained a lot of weight while living with an undiagnosed brain tumor. Drs refusing to consider anything besides me weight as to why I was sick. My tumor was literally found on accident. Once I started treatment for that I was able to start regaining my health. I lost over 120lbs. Then got covid and gained 40 back. Because of my health issues (including the brain tumor) it has taken me longer to recover than some people. I am now back on the downward slope... but having just gotten married recently I have now learned that birth control is not working for me. 2 unexpected pregnancies and losses with the depo shot... and now 3 unexpected pregnancies and losses with the nexplanon implant. These were used because of my health issues and my weight. My hormones are exactly why my body keeps killing my babies and why my cycle is too unpredictable to use as a marker for when to and not to have sex with my husband. Reality is the medical system is not honest about birth control. They want to push safe sex without facing the fact that birth control is not near as effective as they claim. I struggle to want to keep living over the last 2 years because of this. It actually angers me that the wokes want to talk in wokeness and not in actual fact. Instead of actual conversation to improve honesty and transparency in Healthcare and sex ed we have people reacting in extreme to the woke.

The whole fatphobia thing is the biggest crock of shit. Something they can’t talk about because it completely negates their argument (so they actually go out of their way to push these people out of the conversation altogether), is being underweight. I’ve personally struggled with gaining weight my whole life; I am 28 and have religiously stayed under 100lbs. If anyone thinks for even a second that every time I go to the doctor I don’t hear about my weight no matter what I go for, that I don’t struggle to find clothes, that I don’t hear from people on the street and strangers, “oh my god eat a cheeseburger, you look sick,” whatever, etc., you’d be wrong. literally the reason you went to the doctor is to better your health in someway or another; and if a doctor thinks that your weight is one of the most important and significant ways you can better your health, they’re going to tell you, because it’s their JOB. And that will occur more often if you are overweight or underweight.

Another aspect, I'd bet, is the fatter/uglier the girl the less likely she is to require the man to use a condom. Still, the most effective way to not get pregnant is to not have sex.

Why is being neurodivergent the new flex?? I hate living with mental illness. It's debilitating. Severe anxiety and depression are not a flex for me, I WISH I was neurotypical. Let's destigmatize mental illness WITHOUT glorifying it.

I was pregnant and underweight my ob gynecologist literally told me “ thank god your not fat do you know how hard it is to get an ultrasound from a bigger woman that’s pregnant as well as measure the baby it’s the most difficult thing ever” I literally just smile he was a old man I let him pass since he was the one that delivered me when I was born but I felt bad for bigger women at that point like I didn’t know discrimination with weight existed there

It definitely exists. I'm plus-size and currently pregnant for the second time. First kiddo is 15 months. My weight is brought up non-stop. Yes, I AGREE that I'm overweight. Yes, I AGREE that obesity can increase the odds of complications. Yes, I AGREE it's not healthy. Now that we AGREE, does it need to be brought up non-stop throughout the entire pregnancy? *sigh*

The same thing happens to smokers. Doctors will mention the dangers of smoking, the risks associated with smoking and tell you to quit during each doctors visits. It is annoying but I believe it is your doctor's job to encourage a person to try quit bad habits and start living a healthier life.

@@shellyolds7985 the absolute risk when it comes to pregnancy complications from being obese is only slight. Try not to let it get to you, or maybe find a different doctor. It does not need to be brought up at each visit.

It's almost as though there used to be some form of agreement in place between two people, where in they would agree to stay together through thick and thin, for life, and have children together, no matter the "consequences" or changes to their lifestyle they'd have to "suffer". I wonder what that system used to be called.... hmmm.... can't quite remember what it was called.....

I’m fat. My view is that I don’t like fat-positive culture, but fat-shaming doesn’t necessarily help people become healthier. And if companies want to sell to larger customers, they have to have fat models. But no one who is fat is marginalized. Only issue I have is when you equated being fat with being lazy. Exercise isn’t the main factor in weight loss, nutrition is. Sumo wrestlers workout everyday for hours a day, yet bc of how much they eat, they gain weight. And when you workout or do lots of physical labor, your body compensates by either: 1. Chemically urging you to eat more. 2. Having you move less the rest of the day. So, while exercise & movement have many benefits: cardio, anti-aging, anti-stress, etc. & those benefits are available to both fat & thin people, weight loss isn’t one of them, unless it’s accompanied by diet. So, basically you cannot really tell how physically active (lazy or not) a person is by looking at them. You can tell whether they’re eating too much, but cannot tell activity level. It’s a mistake MANY OF DAILYWIRE HOSTS (and regular people) make, so I totally understand why you would make it, but it’s false. Thanks.
