I think they nerf the characters in movies/TV shows, because they're just starting out as superheroes. For example, in the Flash TV show, currently, he can only reach a maximum speed of Mach 2. Not even close to Quicksilver in the comics, who as he said, can reach speeds of up to Mach 10. :)

The reason I like Flash is because he's not overpowered like Superman and he's not too overrated like Batman. Unlike the other Justice League members Flash doesn't take life so seriously he actually has a sense of humor (not saying he doesn't he's not serious when he needs to be) and he can get over dramatic experiences. Flash is also one of the only superheroes who actually hangs out and makes friends with people who don't have super powers (not saying the other superheroes don't Flash is just more involved). I'm surprised DC doesn't make more movies or cartoons with him because he's very fun to watch.

The flash isn't insanely powerful because of his time travel. If he killed someone as a baby, they would never have existed, creating a paradox (which is very bad). There is a difference between being the strongest superhero and the most powerful. Superman may be the strongest superhero but the Flash is most definitely the most powerful. Being able to perceive events happening in less than an Attosecond basically means that everything else in the comic universe is like watching grass grow for the Flash. If you can't move which basically you can't compared to the Flash no matter how strong you are he can hit you with his infinite mass punch as many times as it takes to kill you period. Also it doesn't matter that Superman or anyone else can fly, you still have to come into contact with him which again you can't because everything you do is in slow motion or basically at a standstill in his world. He would literally have to want you to kill him in order to be hit by you. Being able to perceive events at less than an Attosecond would mean that even if he was asleep them moment your punch, lighting bolt, eye beams, force of any kind came into contact with him, he would be instantly aware and infinite mass punching you into oblivion. So I guess I can't suggest Goku for 'strongest superhero' or even Saitama eh? Saitama TRASHES Goku, by the way. He can move AT LEAST 100X the speed of light, in unaffected by the gravitational pull of a black hole and easily lifts his arm in such a scenario, and pretty much one punch killed everything he came across. In fact, when being kicked to the moon at the speed of light by his most powerful adversary, he received no damage to himself -and never did with anything before or after- as well as launching himself back FASTER than the time it took for said enemy to settle down, effectively time traveling in and of himself. I'd nominate Saitama for the 'top five most powerful superheros' list, but I'm very 'fresh' to the whole comic book, superhero, etc scene in comparison to some veterans.

@@blaiseyyyy I think you should do some research on attoseconds and also the physics of superspeed.Someone posted a comment above about it. The flash(if he was allowed to use his full power every time) would best almost any threat instantaneously minus high tier reality warpers, very strong cosmic entities and a few others.Essencially if Barry was to fight supes seriously he would just need to go back in time and kill him.However,if we ban time travel,then the attosecond perception also means that he can perceive literally everything and anything in slow motion. And i mean even beings like the silver surfer would be almost frozen because of how fast Barry is. So he could just infinite mass punch superman a few trillion times and DEAD. Plus he only uses like 3 of his many powers and he even has space time manipulation. I didn't explain it very well but you can do the research.

And by the way, I think it's controversial if that attack actually has infinite mass as I heard someone say that there is no evidence in the comics to suggest it did.
