What I love about you guys is that you actually give good criticism and the food and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant. There's a trends amongst food youtuber that every dishes and bites has to be outstanding and so so good on camera. Keep up the amazing work 🥰😋🤗

That’s the difference between Content Creators (us) and Influencers (them) in my mind. We started doing this without intent of making money. People who want to be Influencers have to find The Best, The Worst, The Biggest, The Most Exclusive blah blah blah so they can Blow Up and go viral. Or they are paid to be there - looking at you Shorts, Instagram and TikTok people. We know this isn’t going viral but here we are doing it anyway. Don’t get me wrong we have to use words like that in titles for KZbin to notice us but when you watch things we are fine with saying it’s a 7/10 or whatever. Sorry soap box moment. I should have just said “Thanks so much!”

I agree with you Rachael, as a former restaurant owner, I CANNOT stand when restaurants have dirty tables when they are slow… so unprofessional and just shows that the staff aren’t really doing their job. I have actually changed my mind when being seated based on this and actually walked out without ordering a thing.

I usually walk rite out if I'm seated at a dirty table and chairs/booth! Makes ya wonder what the kitchen is like ! All these celebrity chef's joints are staffed with employees that really don't give a crap, period.. besides being wayyyyy overpriced.. I am not interested . Way better places ..

Rachel - I agree with tables not being bussed and cleaned. Being a server in my younger days, I think it is a OCD thing. Drives me crazy when I am sitting enjoying my meal and there are dirty tables all around us. Food looked fabulous though!

Agree 💯! I was a waitress in high school and that was one of the first things we were taught, bus the tables - be ready for the next customer! The queso burrito was my (Rach) fave!

The price on drinks is ridiculous. It looks like Vegas is trying to push the limits on a customers willingness to spend. Now I understand the term “highway robbery” This reminds me of Royal Caribbean. So Sad! Thank You both for this review.

I considered dining there when it first opened, but the prices put me off. I asked my son who works in the restaurant business about the dirty tables and he said, “No that’s f--ing lazy. Those should be bussed as soon as the guests leave.” IMO it isn’t fine dining, but at that price point I would expect much better service.

While the food looks good, the drinks are super overpriced and they seem super short-staffed. I get why there might be a wait when you arrive depending on how many servers there are, but when you have reservations and there's a ton of empty tables it would make most sense to seat you and get you some coffee rather than make you stand around staring at empty and dirty tables. That's one of my big dining peeves.

The breakfast prices on the strip are silly. That is why our channel focuses on off-the-strip breakfast joints. Better food, better prices. But, we've been to Flavortown for dinner and it was tasty. Good job!

Totally understand that. When we are staying on the Strip we don't always want to have to get a car to go somewhere. We like to just be able to walk one or two hotels away and get a decent meal to get the day started. We also try to take into consideration that it is usually $20-$40 in rideshare cost for us to get to off-strip places so the prices are closer than one might think when you take that and time into the decision. GREAT FOOD AND VIDEO GUYS…. GUY’S PLACES ARE VERY GOOD NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. THOSE PRICES, EVEN FOR LAS VEGAS, ARE RIDICULOUS THO. THE STRIP IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN RESTAURANTS ON THE BEACH IN HAWAII. IT’S ONE THING GETTING RIPPED OFF WITH LAS VEGAS STRIP HOTEL PRICES,RESORT FEES,PARKING FEES HORRIBLE SLOTS, 6/5 BLACKJACK, TRIPLE ZERO ROULETTE ETC….IT WOULD BE GREAT IF THEY COULD AT LEAST GIVE US A BREAK AND EASE UP ON THE HIGH FOOD PRICES.

Former Chef here. The amount of messy tables is absurd. I'm fine w/ one ot 2 but that's it. Did you see the manager at all? If the manager is not busy then they should be doing it. I hope all the restaurants in Flavortown are not like this.

Great video! As a single diner I really dislike restaurants that have huge portions. Most of the hotel rooms in Vegas do not have microwaves and I doubt I could eat that much food (even just one of those entrees) in one sitting. With coffee and tip I would be looking at around $35 for breakfast and a good portion would be wasted.

I agree. I’d rather have smaller portions and see lower prices. Plus fewer rooms are providing fridges for leftovers. Somehow people have started equating quantity with quality. Smaller portions and if you feel you must consume over two thousand calories in one meal, order two. Might help the obesity epidemic too.

Sounds like they are short staffed and can’t get all the tables cleaned and also would explain the seating issue with open tables all around. I’ve worked in restaurants a long time and it sucks when you are short staffed and get in weeds. It feels like you will never catch up. But food looks great. I’d give it a shot.

We were there just the first of May this year totally unimpressed with this restaurant. The prices were high, did not enjoy the food, had the biscuits with sausage gravy very salty just very unimpressed. Service was so slow had one server on the opposite side from the bar. Your biscuits and gravy look a lot different than the biscuits and gravy we received.

Holy shit, $45.00 for steak & eggs? Are they nuts? Just walk 2 minutes to the Linq Promenade, walk into Favorite Bistro, which is right next door to the Linq Hotel & Casino, and they offer the steak & eggs breakfast special for $18.99. Who cares if Guy Fieri's name isn't on the restaurant. That place is very good, and all their breakfast items are delicious, for a fraction of the price. Why do so many people allow themselves to get ripped off? The food is really nothing special, especially breakfast items. I always hear that's it's the Vegas Strip, so that's why they charge so much, but personally, that's just an excuse that Vegas put into visitors heads, and people are now okay with paying those prices, even though there are very good, less expensive options nearby. Maybe they aren't "celebrity chef" restaurants, but who cares? It's just breakfast, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, etc.

I actually think people like that should go and experience it, because maybe they won't get a chance to again. Maybe it won't be the best food ever but it is something they can't experience at home and for me that is the key. Sure they can save some money going to a different no name restaurant somewhere else but these places are for stories to tell their friends and family members. For good or for bad and it's why I like that there are restaurants like this on the Strip btw I think I am turning into a softy

Guy is entertaining and I believe he, himself, is a more-talented culinarian than his image would belie. Can’t respect him as a restauranteur, though. My experiences at his restaurants have universally involved overwrought & ridiculous setups, poor service, and a general lack of hygiene. Perhaps a slight bump over Margaritaville or Cabo Wabo, but still a bottom feeder among the celeb restaurant groups. He’ll probably be under the Landry’s umbrella eventually.
