Let's cherry pick and put the spotlight on "this young man who's been helped by Haloperidol" instead of the untold multitudes who've been chemically lobotomized. That'll work.

I took this and it was very much like hell, I wanted to die and I’m still dealing with suicidal thoughts because of it when I never had suicidal thoughts to begin with. I am trying to see how I can sue for the sake of just doing research on the effects of the drug in order to reverse possible permanent damage that it gave me. I mean it even says online I think on WebMD that it can give permanent tardiness dyskinesia. I want to create a group of people who have been given this drug or even other antipsychotics that want to fight against the usage of these drugs or even against the psychiatric medical system to begin with that I think is very corrupt and dangerous.

After taking Haldol I can't enjoy life anymore. I feel empty. It certainly destroys something in the brain.

@sebastian lopez if you are lucky it stops, but for some people it persists even after stopping. This medicament is poison

@sebastian lopez it's better now but I'm not back to normal. I loved listening to music and now I never listen to anything - feels like I lost most of my passions

@sebastian lopez yeah, this "medicine" is rather a poison... It turned me into a zombie kind of. I just want to eat and sleep, pretty shitty situation for someone who is 28. If you are interested what might have happened with you (maybe you also feel very passive and might have noticed strange things going on about your psyche / body) then look up on Wikipedia Dopamin D2 receptors and then check the list of biological processes which these receptors influence. Neuroleptics fuck those receptors up and in conclusion destroy the proper functioning of those "biological processes". If you feel lazy or if you're not showering as often as you used to, then it's because your receptors are fucked. You'll be shocked if you check the list

@Albert physically you won't notice much but neurologically they messed me up. I can't get up in the mornings and can't work on tasks. Crazy. Firstly thought I'm lazy but actually these pills destroyed my motivation

@Albert not much - 6mg/day for just one week but that was enough... Crazy, I can't believe it either that poison like that is touted as medicine. The first week after I was unable to sleep for two weeks, then layed in bed for weeks. Now I look fine and I wouldn't think much if there was not this tinnitus and complete absence of thirst and appetite. Can go without food/water for days - so something is certainly broken in my brain now

Yes it is. I can barely sum numbers after only two injections 4 months ago. And there's no joy. Life's not worth living anymore.

My husband was put on this after a lengthy psychiatric stay, the speculation is they just put him on it so they could finally discharge him. What I see - it's turned him into an incontinent zombie. He's being tapered off, and I see signs of him returning to himself, fortunately he wasn't taking it for a very long time but I weigh in on the side that takes a very dim view of this drug.

Fluphenazine also does have a lli perphenazine isn’t used anymore and besides for fluphenazine haldol has the highest eps risk besides for other butyrophenones like benperidol also one more thing chlorpromazine does not have remotely the same eps risk as even perphenzine one of the reasons it might be is that it is an anticholinergic as you might know benztropine is used for eps in haldol haldol has a bad rep cause too many people get overdosed in hospitals and have a horrible experience haldol is a great drug if used right same goes for fentanyl that shit saves lives as a medication and both are from the mind of the same person Paul Jannsen R.I.P

It's not the haloperidol, but the metabolites. 4-(4-chlorophenyl)-1-[4-(4-fluorophenyl)-4-oxybutyl]pyridinium ion (HPP(+)) and 4-(4-(chlorophenyl)-1-4-(fluorophenyl)-4-hydroxybutyl-pyridinium (RHPP(+))

Haldol being related to pethidine I thought of something desmethyl prodine another pethidine derived drug an opioid (fentanyl is out of the same line as haldol) has a toxic byproduct that if not synthesized right can turn into MPP+ the other substance is mptp and the original substance is mppp en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desmethylprodine

my high functioning autistic daughter was given this drug 4 full doses within two days for tooth pain she has never been psychotic in her life, she ended up in the ICU, 45 minute of CPR, intubated then contracted sepsis and survived! she can no longer speak and is worse than when we found out about her autism at the age of 2.5, we had no aftercare and nobody checked up on her afterwords, the cover up has been disturbing and unjust, I would like to give these doctors this medication as much as they did to my beautiful daughter!!! 3 days without oxygen, the nurses kept telling me she was biting her tongue for attention! idiots...

I am like your patient and had a quick turn around with one of my first episodes via injection. I distinctively remember a safe feeling with it and trusting my Dr's for saving my life. I know it has side affects but other meds and attempts during psychosis if I let it go that far untreated I have had negative affects with respirdol . I like your patient recently requested Haldol again.

I literally had to be hospitalized just for side effects because I couldn’t dress myself or feed myself, and I got catatonic on it on small dose. Also I do think it causes some brain damage. I want Justice against the doctor who prescribed this death pill. A spinal tap is safer.

Given the discovery of diseases like anti nmda receptor encephalitis, I know it would be safer to get a spinal tap than take haldol.
