I love your take on not over-analyzing why someone is not meeting out expectations or acting the way we want them to or treating us a certain way. I believe that if there is no reciprocity and connection then it is time to move on. No sense in waiting for people to change or change their minds about us.

An amazing and generous first live chat, Jack. Going forward, I would pace things out, go slower, and not be so concerned about answering all questions. And definitely set your water up and take time to take sips :) Personally, I feel your advice is so golden that folks should be encouraged to donate to ensure they are read -- not to the exclusion of others, of course. But space should be opened up for people to pay tribute. You are worth it! From a fellow UK/US transplant.

This is super helpful advice, my heart is not ready to let go even do I know, he is no longer committed to this relationship, he looks for me occasionally, I know he is trying to fix things with the ex (attending Marriage counseling ) he said only doing it because she wanted to but he is divorcing , he said he loves me, but there is days he is gone, no calls, no visits , no messages, out of no were she shows up at my house. I feel like the plan B. he asked me for time and asked me to delete him from social media as well to protect me from his problems. before him and the ex started talking again he was making lots of plan together. I live in pain every day :(

The harsh truth, at least with me, when a man is not emotional available for us, is really because after the initial period he finds out that we are not enough..or not what he's looking for, although he may say that he is in stage of life that he doesn't want any commitment. When we see them after a few months, commiting to another person is very clear that....
@thejackbutler5 жыл бұрын
I hear you - yep, that can happen. Sometimes it can help to de-personalize a little - 'this connection wasn't capable of commitment' or 'this connection wasn't wanting to manifest commitment'. 🙏

I feel it's not worth wasting time with someone who has been hurt. That person needs have therapy and he can come back later. Lol!! Done enough time wasting with guys who have issues.

Definitely would encourage getting the right support. It can also be possible to do the work as you're engaging in relationship. Hoping you get more of what you want!
