I have a 2014 Black Edition CRV, yesterday I parked by a new Sorento and I had to get out and look at it. The owner was super nice and let me look in the inside. I loved everything about it! So I went home and looked at the KIA lineup and every vehicle they have makes a statement from the inside out. I don't know what SUV model I want, but I'm definitely upgrading to a newer KIA. Hondas, Fords, Dodge etc honestly haven't changed much. But KIA, Hyundai and Toyotas have really stepped up their game.

Totally agree, KIA is absolutely outstanding in their car design right now, interior and exterior both (except 2023 Sportage, I hope they made this odd headlights shape just because of mistake😅) Mostly I love their interior- it’s a next level for the cars of this price segment!

I drove the kia and the amount of wobbling, road noise, and jerking was unbearable. I purchased the crv sport, more solid, less noise, and fairly smooth ride with more space and simple to operate.

​​@@p13677 absolutely agree with you, I have the Sportage23 second to top trim model and it feels like I'm driving a car $20k over the price point. I do valet and drive luxury cars all day long and I get excited being in mind over Audis, BMWs and Mercedes from the interior trim and layout Road noise isnt exaggerated, no wobbling and such a smooth ride, esp over bumps etc. Such a well made car inside and out. Will be going to the HEV model in a couple years but will stay Sportage based on our experience so far. I'm also a 10 year Kia owner of a 2012 Optima EX and still love it and will keep it as long as I can

@abhayjoijode today i changed my mind. I really love this car its amazing but the dealership asked me to wait for another 9 months which is a total of 2 years. So, today I canceled it and bought a tuscon ultimate phev. Both of these are built on the same platform. But to be honest I love sportage just because of the looks.

Have had Honda's for years......Civic out of college 235,000 miles when we traded it for a new Honda Pilot in 2006. It has 210,000 miles on it currently. Hubby uses it for work. We bought a new Honda Odyssey in 2018. It has 75,000 miles on it but unfortunately it was totaled last month BUT still worth $31,000 so now I will buy a new Odyssey. LOVE Honda!

I think fundamentals such as driving comfort and passenger comfort including the ergonomics are done better by the Japanese always, excluding exceptions. Also, many would prefer Japanese engines that like to rev and provide some driving experience.

Kia looks cooler and fancier. However the Honda will last you alot longer and cost you less in repairs over time so I'd advise anyone to go with the Honda if they're lookimg for reliability and a vehicle that will last. It's worth what you pay for it.

As a civic owner whose civic has 120k miles, I can say that’s a lie. Bought preowned at 40k miles, rebuilt CVT at 50k miles, new starter at 70k, had to have basically the entire AC system replaced at 100k due to the recall. On top of typical wear and tear like shocks and brakes, it seems like every year my civic has something. Given, most of it was covered under some form of warranty, the Kia does have the better factory warranty, which has me eyeing the Kia over the Honda.
